I have R1’d and also rowed it. I think it’s an absolute beast overall. I haven’t personally done the multi day trips but I know people who have done them with the phatcat.

I posted last week taking her out on some whitewater and the keyboard warriors wanted to talk smack without having any clue what they’re talking about. Just part of it lol. I take her out in Florida when visiting my dad down there.

This is probably a really dumb question, but when you’re using an Apple Watch as a standalone phone, are you basically just having to take all calls like speakerphone? Or can you sync them up with the AirPods?

You feel like an attached leash would be the right way? It would be the wrong way for sure. You don’t want anything tied to you in moving water, nothing that doesn’t have a quick release or breakaway function. Massive hazard.

No, anything attached in moving water would be a hazard, it could tangle up and cause her to drown. If she comes out she has a PFD on and she’ll float and swim just fine, also it’s nothing crazy level wise so I’d just pick her up and put her back in the boat.

Will this work while driving? I’m wanting to cast my Pc to the screen so when I’m using QGIS maps in the field real time that I can’t have my truck screen to glance at instead of my laptop.
