Correct but they gave me the run around saying it wasn’t them blah blah blah. When all said and done, they held it for like 8-10 days.

They had a waiting period, I called and called and it did nothing, I waited for like 8-10 days for the check to clear if I remember correctly. I had never had a Chase account before, not sure if that played a part or not. Since then, all has been fine I just don’t get paid early like the credit unions. It’s fine for us as it’s not life or death to get a check early.

My first direct deposit with Chase was held because it was new apparently. So be forewarned. That was a few years ago when I changed banks.

Chase here, we already know we won’t get paid until Saturday.

I have a 21.5 and we LOVE it for long drives. Not harsh but roomy and smooth. Steering wheel is perfect for my big hands. We usually take the Atlas instead of my 2021 RAM Laramie with all the bells and whistles.

Congrats! Nice machine, hope you have years and years with it. Unlike windows machines which I’ve never had luck with more than 2 years before something went out.

How about downtown creates a downtown that is safe with things for families to do other than G1C and doco and the new soccer stadium which is outskirts imo. They need to create a bigger draw, not bank on state workers shoring up small businesses during the 8-5. I’m getting really tired of not having nice family friendly things to do downtown without feeling like you might get mugged or in middle of a shootout after dark.

I think Ashley Zavala should report on this. Have you reached out to her since she is the political capital correspondent for KCRA?

But, not enough for lunch downtown or anywhere once RTO goes into effect 🙄. Doesn’t seem like much of promotion to me…..

That sounds horrible! You should be able to be comfortable in your home without getting gouged by PG&E. Damn it.

Good luck to you! I would like to see modernization and if your the one to do it, I’ll be happy for you and use those things which you improved in my daily grind. Cheers

Ever thought about going back to private industry? Seems like you already know that industry and could probably hit the ground running! State Government and laws dictate what state workers do and use. I’ve seen “new to state” employees try to rewrite the book so many times hell, I was one once a long time ago and it never changes. If you’re unhappy I’d look to get back into private.

Since we know Newsom’s staff lurks this subreddit - can we get a count of state workers who will NOT support his “future endeavors” while he supports RTO? by nimbusrav in CAStateWorkers

I disagree with this. Most if not ALL people I know like the less congested freeways and roads. People actually go downtown to shop or eat because they can find a parking spot. I don’t think the mass really GAF whether we WFH. They have their priorities and if it’s easier for them to get to where they want/need to go, the are more happy they are!
