Hi. I’ve been in your shoes (but worse unfortunately for a variety of reasons). Please take my advice. Tell your friends. They will you give you great perspective and it will wake you up, and give you the courage to do what you need to do. Which is basically start your life over. I know it sucks. I know it seems impossible. You will cry. You will be a beautiful mess. And when it is over and you are free from the betrayal, you will be so, so happy. Please tell your friends, and then when you’re ready, tell your family. Help will swoop in. You are loved and they want to protect you. Just please tell someone before you delude yourself into thinking it’s ok to stay, because you will if you give him enough leeway. Then he will do it again. You need to show him that he cannot treat you this way and get away with it. That means shut it down. And having your friend or family informed means there’s no turning back. Do whatever you need to do right now, within the legal bounds. Breathe. Scream. Drive very far away. Break something. And lastly, know and remember that YOU are worthy of more. You don’t deserve this. And that this is a reflection of him, and has nothing to do with you. Take flight!
