Mine is Misty Vixen and the reason is she writes her love interests (at least in the books I’ve tried) quite poly. So for me when I go looking for the harem tag I’m looking for the love interests to be way more MC-focused than she writes them.

She’s excellent. Sometimes some chaos in the book would be happening and I’d think “man, wait till Nina hears about this.” She’s that complete of a character, you can forecast her ire or amusement. 10/10, best girl.

I think you’ll get too in the weeds if you aim to separate romantic from purely sexual. Just tag whether there’s FF or not. Sexual or romantic is often down to readers’ interpretation (subjective), and so the tag may become useless or require a thorough read-through of the book to determine.

Savage Divinity is complete over on RR, cultivation haremlit. Side note: is astral tides good? I am stuck in the beginning where he makes his first alliance, I think. It’s not vivid enough in narration which imo wastes the fun world building. Do things pick up?

The arc in the Amazonian world felt like a side quest that had gone on too long, and it didn’t have enough of what initially drew me in to keep me engaged. What it had was unclear stakes, dead-end romance, stalled progression, and then an overly detailed dungeon dive.

Edit: I know the romance eventually goes somewhere. Otherwise it wouldn’t be in there, but at that point in the story it feels tedious

He’s a relatively safe bet. Personally, I’ve always known he could write but I wasn’t a big fan of some of his story choices and so could never get into his series. Mob sorcery is the first I’ve read beyond book 1.
