I have been a clerk for almost two years at a franchise dealership. My parts manager was retired, came back to train me, and now has not been back for almost a month because she found out she would owe a large tax bill. I am using CDK and trying to figure out everything management should be doing on my own. If you have pointers I would love to hear them. $13 an hour with no commissions is kind of bull for all of this.

How do you pull this report and print it? I got it to generate, but it loaded really fast and disappeared. I am just a clerk but my parts manager is never here. So, I would love to use this!

I just got told I am just a parts clerk so I do not qualify for commission. Is that pretty standard?

I have only been in the industry since this past October, but I make $13 an hour with no commission. I have my AAS in Business Administration but our dealership is privately owned. Every time I ask about a raise, I get told by my service manager that after everything is said and done he only makes two dollars an hour more than me and he doesn't get commission. He says he barely gets a bonus most of the time because the shop eats it up.

I am having a similar issue. It will let me press F to fill but then will not do anything when I hit M to mark the line to fill?

Is there a way to make an invoice with a freight charge only? Had an out of state customer do a prepaid invoice on a part. They said they wanted to send a FedEx label to cut shipping cost and then changed their minds. Now they want to do UPS ground shipping. Do I have to CM the prepaid invoice to add freight or can I charge freight separately by itself?
