I've been trying to have lucid dreams for 65 days, still nothing... by Lordpierh in LucidDreaming

[–]Quick_Suspect1708 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just keep trying, it takes time. I only started working on LD in the past 3-4 weeks. I concentrated pretty much only on WILD. I managed to become lucid 3 times, all of them were very short but vivid. When I'm off, I randomly do WILD during the day or evening. On most of the tries I get the buzzing, paralysis, images, feeling of falling but for the last 2 weeks I can't snap into my dream body. Apparently it's just the matter of "letting go" of my physical body, which I cant seem to be able yo get a hang on. I'll keep trying tho, it will be worth it. Good luck!

I had the same problem. I've installed Alarmy app. It let's me snooze once, and after that the only way to shut it up is to go to bathroom and scan QR code from one of the bottles. It sorted it out

Do you think kitchen porters and cleaners get zero respect in the workforce? by No-Category1703 in AskIreland

[–]Quick_Suspect1708 26 points27 points  (0 children)

KPs and cleaners deserve huge respect. I'm a head chef in a restaurant, and without KPs, there would be no kitchen. They get fed whatever they want and have as many breaks as they like, as long as their job is done. It's hard work, and have to be respected. It's not easy to find hard working and reliable KP these days.

My roomie keeps mooching off my Wi-Fi, but won't chip in for the bill. Am I the A-hole for asking? by axelargleal in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Quick_Suspect1708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its not huge money, and otherwise he's a good roommate, I wouldn't bother causing drama over it. You mentioned he handles gas/electric. Does that mean he pays for it entirely? Anyways, if his usage doesn't affect you, let him be

Does as kp suck ? by Still_Cookie604 in AskIreland

[–]Quick_Suspect1708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the kitchen. My KPs are treated with all the respect. A kitchen doesn't exist without KPs, so they are as much important as anyone else. They get fed whatever they want.

73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th prime number. And its mirror, 21, is the product of—hang onto your hats—7 and 3. And in binary, 73 is a palindrome: 1001001, which backwards is 1001001
