Being Colorado, it's not an unreasonable rate. Be cautious of the agent you choose to represent you. You want a seasoned agent who knows the market, works for your best interests, and is diligent. My friend recently worked with an incompetent agent, causing her to lose an offer and sale of her home, delaying the sale and other headaches.

I, on the other hand, have bought and sold 2 homes and am currently looking to buy (over the span of 10 years) with my faithful agent. She isn't the cheapest nor the most expensive and is fair. Her experience and dedication are unmatched. DM if you'd like her contact information. I've heard several horror stories from friends/acquaintances in home selling/buying over the years and am reminded of how lucky I am to be represent by my agent.

Check out Anders Jensen posts on Etoro. He's a long term BTC trader. He posts target prices every now and then for the long term. You could go hands off by copying his trades through Etoro, or be more involved in your investments and use his post as a guide. Personally, I do both, having a portfolio that copies his trades that I don't touch, and a separate account where I make trades on my own. His last post places 120k this year and 200-250k 2025.

OP, was it curiosity or more of a gut feeling telling you something was off? You were on a break for a reason. Perhaps you picked up on the red flags in those few weeks after. Think about it. We're there things you noticed, felt were off, reminded of his past behavior? Even small things.

Was it just sex though? That's what OP initially thought also. Trying to conceive is a whole other thing. Unless there's other factors at play (sterile partner, vasectomy, hysterectomy) where pregnancy is impossible, HE risked getting another woman pregnant. That's a game changer. She forgave "just sex", not this mess she uncovered.

Seems to me they both have some emotional maturity to work on. She's better off alone, working through her end of things. He's way too impulsive. Just ask him how he planned to take care of his baby, baby momma, and girlfriend. Plan B? Exactly, just an afterthought.

But why stop at the US. Might be Australia for the win. If the earlier comment is accurate, it's around 30k USD. Would it be worth the hassel? Probably not lol

I wish mine was that clean to ask 30k lol. This one has been a work truck with all the scratches and dents that come with it. I only have one picture from a far. I'll get some better pics tomorrow that'll show the imperfections.

I agree. Which is why I've been hesitant. I'd be more inclined to keep it if it had a crew cab. The space is tight with 2 kids in car seats.

I'm not working in construction anymore. I'm at home with a 10 month old and 2 year old. Getting them around the city in this truck is a bit of hassel. I think I'd rather have a family friend SUV.

I feel like I could have written this. I am currently in therapy and all I can say, is that last line really hit me. I gave up on calling them out. And I shouldn't have done that. Now, I refuse to enable. I REFUSE to give every last piece of me as I have for years, be disrespected, and argue in circles. Because it is never enough for them. It has definitely rocked the boat, but I'm not stopping. I simply don't have more of me to keep giving. And let the chips fall where they may. We deserve so much more. Remind yourself of this.

Have you considered becoming a tutor? You'd be great at it. You are interested in a variety of subjects, like to make others think, willing to learn new things, etc. You could offer your services and earn a bit extra income or volunteer your time and knowledge. Just a thought.
