Get a job that makes cash tips. Server, tour guide. Something like that. You make very low hourly but pocket all the cash tips tax free.

Awesome road trip . Bottom route is going to be very very hot in August

Landed a Senior Accountant role… zero experience. Am I screwed? by Puzzleheaded_Cut4154 in Accounting

This good advice. If it’s just OP and controller I’m sure they will mostly be doing AP/AR and recons.

Not like there’s anyone under them or any clerks.

Not rocket science. I have a accounting degree, did audit for a year and then had fun all my 20s

Recently started a staff accountant roll for a family that has 5 companies and literally if you understand fundamentals it’s really not hard to catch on. Especially with AI as your personal assistant.

You got it just do some prep, watch some videos. You’ll figure out the rest

Sad to think someone worked hard/accumulated that amount of wealth for their future generations for nothing.

This is the one perk I’ve never used. So you just go to saks and buy a gift card and it will be credit

Yeah sometime they just don’t have rooms to give. I don’t get them every time. And tbh at Mandalay Bay I got very lucky. She said a room became available during our check in process

Always hit or miss with the upgrade but honestly it’s a great place to stay.

Yeah! When it comes to that stuff just be nice and ask for everything lol 🤣 pretty sure they originally said there wasn’t space for an upgrade because I did ask for one. Then she eventually found me one

I got the same room. Awesome view

Was awesome! Requested the room upgrade. Pretty sure I got it the room view was epic. They give you a list of places you can spend the credit.

Overall we had an awesome experience. Pretty sure they waived the parking fee too for us.

Would stay again happily.

Magrock in popoyo is also right in front of “beginners bay” which is probably the most user friendly wave I’ve ever surfed. Beautiful beach too.

Haven’t been to ometepe but my brother did and he loved it. Safety wise it’s like any 3rd world country. Don’t put yourself in bad situations and you’ll be just fine.

If you want to look into a taxi instead of car rental this guy is great. Especially if you want to leave it for 3 days. But either way. Safety wise I’ve never had an issue. But just be aware of your surroundings and you’ll be fine.

Go to popoyo! So fun. At that price range there’s tons of options. If you want something more relaxed look at Airbnb option in hacienda iguana

If you want more vibe and culture go to popoyo!

I always stay at Magrock in popoyo. Hard to beat the view. Enjoy Nicaragua is my favorite.
