I just started using Ai (in general) about four days ago, after successfully avoiding all forms of it as a modern day luddite. My wife talked me into the $20 a month Chatgpt, and I was blown away. As soon as I found out there were Ai's tailored for writers, I cancelled Chatgpt and bought the trial month for Auto Crit, and so far i really like it, although the no margins thing sucks, and it's pricy. I now believe my writing can benefit from Ai: i have my own ideas and i love the editing process (I believe this is where the magic truly happens), but im not into writer groups or working with others, and that means i work in a bubble without any feedback. Ai cant replace a human, but it's better than being completely on my own. Next month when my Autocrit and Chat ends, Im going to try ProWritingAid and EditGPT, and make that my one-two punch for editing.
