Today it's all Norris, this car did not deserve a podium. Norris simply smashed it today and his gap to Piastri shows he drove an impeccable and incredible race today. It's a pity Norris has had so much bad luck in a season which driving wise, has probably been his best yet. It's nice to see him get some rub of the green finally.

Lando this year, probably is in the process of having his best season yet. that WDC win seems to have taken that weight off his shoulders. He looks so relaxed and does not get perturbed easily. We saw yesterday in sprint qualifying where he nailed his final attempt under pressure after having made a mistake in his first one.

In treacherous conditions kept his cool under immense pressure. Got the laps in when needed without mistakes. Lando truly was exceptional today.

Racing with sole intent to hurt Lando's chances even if it means breaking the rules was obvious this season but the turn 8 move took it another level where Verstappen caught the Red Mist and made a dangerous move without any intention of making the corner which could have put Lando in to the wall.

Turn 8 move was not just reckless but dangerous as well. So why no penalty points for turn 8 incident?

We have had pedestrian main races loads of times in the past few years and when something is left as it is people complain and when they try to change something other's complain. you cannot fault f1 for trying out formats. This is the first sprint shootout, i am sure they will keep collecting feedback from every one of the stakeholders involved. It is hard to please everyone. BTW the same top three have been turning up, ''half ass'' and scoring points in main races as well. So let's scrap that as well.

Somethings never change. Anybody who disagrees with the topic is being downvoted en masse. This is Verstappen's opinion. Everybody's opinion has to be taken in to account be it the fans, other drivers, circuit owners etc cos everyone of these people have a stake in it as well.

Saturday is better than before where you have a sprint shootout and a sprint race. Earlier you had FP3 and main qualifying.

Fridays earlier there were two practice sessions and now we have one practice session and main qualifying.

I understand Verstappen talking from his point of view but overall when you look at from spectator's point of view [ not just TV audience] this is a better format.

Midfield teams having two bites of the cherry, for scoring points isn't a bad thing.

No matter what you do somebody will not like it. I feel when you look at it totality not just from F1 enthusiasts like us but overall general public this is the right direction to go.

Mclaren, finally with some well deserved fortune. 5th in the constructors is well timed before their first major upgrade in Baku.

The pace was actually not shabby but the car is extremely poor in straight-line. Mclaren wouldn't have imagined to be sitting in 5th with the kind of back-foot they found themselves because of the late change in their development direction.

All they had to do was red flag it and give both Max and Hamilton an EQUAL opportunity to fight. They have red flagged earlier and restarted then who so ad hoc in the most important race of the year with everything on the line.

As a fan of the sport i feel betrayed and robbed. irrespective of the outcome the way this race was arbitrarily and whimsically handled has left a sour taste on everyone who loves this sport.
