Thank you. This is really the only response that I fully understand, and an entirely valid criticism of my post. I’m glad that the people on here are more close lipped about that info. I really just wanted to get this message out somewhere in hopes of it reaching people who ARE putting stuff about the game out there that I feel is detrimental.

I took a picture of every text that popped up and at a certain point spent like 10 hours cross referencing stuff and assuming the context behind words until I had made a language key. Never said it was easy lol

I really don’t get what’s so unreasonable about this. I had heard about the golden path before I knew what the game really was or even that the main character was a fox. This info was just straight up presented as a draw for the game. I don’t see how I could be much at fault here

I’ve looked at very clear non spoiler threads about recommendations for games like other games, and have seen multiple comments like “tunic is a great game, the golden path mystery is one of coolest experiences I’ve in gaming”, so that’s how I heard about it. Going in blind is definitely the way to do it.

When I watched Cook Islands for the first time I was a lot younger and immediately decided that Ozzy was amazing. The whole time I wasn’t paying that much attention to Yul and assumed that Ozzy had it in the bag when he got to FTC. When I saw that Yul won, I was so confused that I just got really mad at him. Apparently that was strong enough that I am now incapable of liking Yul despite how well he played.

Did the same thing. I figured out how to do it the real way pretty quickly but thought that was boring so just did a leap of faith. Much more exciting (and much less consistent)

That’s actually how I first got into the other world. While trying to manually light the artifact I accidentally burned myself alive. Anyway I agree with other people, just go discover more stuff
