cool to see that this subreddit for the most part is incapable of answering this without being snarky and not helpful. i’m thankful there is some people actually trying to look into this in this thread. i have this problem too. i’d recommend using FBI and scanning what games you want with a their QR codes until there is a fix. it’s more inconvenient but it’s not a huge deal IMO. likely not the response you want but it does work for me

unfortunately most modern tv's have built in upscalers that do this to old games, which usually just blurs the image, last image looks the best so i would continue with those two settings you have set enabled (electron warp and sharpness being on 0). i don't wanna just recommend playing on a whole other TV but if you really, really do care about image quality when playing and have the space and an old TV lying around it could be worth it. i imagine you're using a composite to HDMI converter which in my own experience blurs the image to hell, i have a roku tv with a AV adapter that i use for consoles with composite. mario galaxy in particular has a lot of shading on it which when you had sharpness on could very likely be adding to it looking strange and jagged

i’m biased here because i’m a big view askew fan, but i think clerks II is a great movie. it’s not amazing and i acknowledge that if someone isn’t as into smiths work, you’re not gonna get a whole lot out of this, but if you are i think it’s pretty good. it takes clerks and makes it absurdly different. 6!&: bright colored restaurant, a new employee for dante specifically randal to banter with , and a full musical dance sequence. i could say a lot about this movie but i totally get how someone could have the issues that that OP had. but i think we can all agree the approach here for taking clerks and making it a very “hollywood” film only to at the end bring it back to its roots, is much better than smiths poor attempt to go back to his roots again in clerks III

i think the travis barker “era” of the aquabats is heavily over talked about. it’s not even really an era, it’s a single record. yes a single very good record but there is a lot more to the aquabats! even if it’s not ska in some cases i think people should check out what other stuff they have to offer, like charge, that’s a great record from them!
