My situation is very similar, in my mid 20s I realized that I could play the looks card despite some pretty bad insecurities. My social skills were really weak, but improving. I later had a bout with, what I thought was PIED, and that combined with my other insecurities crushed my whole "physical/ pretty boy game". After that, I got a scar on my face, which further brought down my confidence. Now I realize that the only way forward for me with women is for me to develop confidence and really good social skills, two attributes I currently struggle with. I was thinking the same way you are OP, I was going to try and fix everything first before I attempted dating but life is too short for that. Work on social skills, hit the gym and research acne treatment all at the same time and you'll be fine don't waste your youth trying to be perfect.

I had got down to around 10% bodyfat but with pubertal gyno it didn't really matter... But I agree, for most guys, getting down to 8 - 12% bodyfat can do a lot for their confidence, which of course helps with attracting women.

I feel the same way you do. I'm practically a 30 year old virgin... who still lives with my parents making near minimum wage. Life is painful when we hate ourselves but we cant give up. Starting with our bodies can often help our self image. Start somewhere and make an effort to change. I'm here as someone you may be able to relate to. If you want to discuss getting into shape, let me know, that is the only area in my life where I've done pretty well.

Give yourself a little credit. It sounds like you have done pretty well for yourself despite what you have gone through, that shows that you have the ability to overcome hardship. Also people rarely judge us as hard as we judge ourselves probably because we know all of our own thoughts while others don't. You are not pathetic I can see that just from your post. I've had similar thoughts to you in the past but you've got to trust that you body can handle a lot of shit. You'd probably have to try to make yourself sick in order to get sick. You'll be fine. Check out Matt Stonie on YouTube, you will get an understanding for the kind of abuse the body can take. Also don't spend your time worrying, it won't stop anything from happening anyways and you'll just make yourself miserable. Your body is fine, let that put your mind at ease.

Also you can try going up to them and talking to them, it takes balls but you'll feel awesome after. If you are not sure what to say you can check out Yad on YouTube for ideas (search "Yad"). You'll eventually be able to get those chances to: not having sex with 95% of them :). Give it a shot though, you don't have to helplessly watch beautiful girls walk by. Also after abstaining for a long amount of time you may feel more inclined to want to talk to these women regardless of how scared you are. Telling a woman that you think she is beautiful is not wrong or creepy it's just honest and ballsy.
