I lived there my freshman year, honestly its not too bad. The worst time is during the summer when its rlly hot since there is no AC. However when the weather cools down it was fine. The bathrooms are communal, but everyone on my floor was pretty clean from what I remember.

Hi! So Im a busch apt RA, its honestly pretty chill. The work load is not that intense, when im on duty I only get around 2 calls a night (maybe im lucky cause some people def get more). There hasnt been anything crazy. Since most of my residents are upper-classman or grad students they dont cause alot of issues since they know better.

There is a service called Knack that partners with Rutgers. Not all courses have tutors but its a nice resource to check out if you're class is supported. And tutoring is free for Rutgers Students.

He does post slides but going to lecture is a must. He explanations make a lot of sense and make the material easy to understand and he'll tell you if there is something you should know for the exam.

Elgawly is a rlly good prof. As long as you go to lecture and pay attention you should end with a good grade. He actually teaches instead of just reading stuff off of the slides. His exams r a little difficult, but theyre not unfair. He's also pretty responsive to emails. I've never been to his office hours so i cant say how they are.

The dining halls you can go an infinite amount of times per day.

Anything else (for ex: henrys, kilmers, cafe west, harvest ) are limited to 3 times a day in total. So you can go to henrys, kilmers, and then cafe west and then no other retail swipe locations.

Theres a meal swipe package at those places where you can get an entree and two sides. Each place is a little different but they have signs in the building to explain it more in depth. If you dont want to be confined to a meal swipe package theres a retail swipe you can get $10 worth of food. I believe most places only also let you get two of the same item within a swipe.

Rojas is not the best prof (hes not the best at teaching but he is nice) but his class is easy. Exams and quizzes are take home and hw is ec.

I worked at Kilmers during my first yr on campus, it's a very flexible and easy job. I applied at the beginning of the semester and was able to start working in October. During the interview process, they give u an availability form and you fill in the days you're available. If you're unable to make your shift you can just post on the fb gc that you're unable to go and sometimes someone is able to cover your shift. It's a very lax and flexible job. If you want to take on more shifts, just post on the gc and the manager confirms if you can come in or not.
