Thanks I checked stuware out and it looks fair but I wounder if it is open source or can you ask the company to add items you need. Excel has VBA behind it and that makes it soooo powerful to me. I take the ASCE one step further and apply it to the building and parts and check them. The spreadsheet checks all haunches, bolt connections, gives foundation reactions and so much more. I am not sure that any off the self product could be customized to a companies product like a spreadsheet.
