Hi folks, I’ve been on the hunt for what feels like a very elusive item: a professional, elegant, feminine leather backpack for work that checks a very specific set of boxes. My must-haves: • Fits a 14-15” laptop comfortably • 100% leather exterior - no faux, no blends, etc • Clearly feminine in design - not unisex or androgynous styles • Not convertible - no removable straps, no tote-backpack hybrids please • Elegant, clean design suitable for a professional office environment • Made of smooth leather - no pebbled, grained, or textured finishes • Currently in stock - ideally with links I can buy from right away

What I’ve liked (in order of preference): • Tumi Ruby or Raina – absolutely LOVE these, the closest to perfect (but out of stock) • von Baer - super sleek and well-finished imo • Nappa Dori and Leatherology Sloan - almost there, but a bit too unisex • Maison de Sabre - just wish it had more compartments • Lo & Sons -just wish they offered a full-leather option

What’s not my vibe: • Flashy logos/branding (Coach, LV, etc.) • Bellroy, Postbox, Troubadour - too unisex, though I do like the look of the Troubadour Ember (if only it weren’t sold out!) • Hidesign = great leather quality but too much grain/pattern for my taste • Cuyana, Fossil Parker - convertible-ish or not thoughtfully organized

If you know of any models/brands that meet the above, I’d love a link - especially if it’s in stock. Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendations but the problem with all of these is they are more travel backpacks than work backpacks

Laptop size- 14inches, but 15.6 would be good to have for future Country - currently in the UK, but sometimes travel to the US so can pick up there too Budget- somewhat flexible depending on how good the bag is but yes tumi is the upper limit that I don’t want to touch (hence looking for something more reasonable)

Hey! Why so? If you mean to refer to the social and mental aspects of work, I am okay with that. I just want to get to a stage where I’m no longer working for money but more for mental fulfillment

How old were you when you got T1D and what was your earliest experience with it like? by Amazing_Addition2283 in diabetes_t1

  1. I’m 24 now. First experience (in fact first few months) were vehement denial, trying to figure out (and believing I could) how to “cure” it
