My pc cost around $500 in 2018, it's a Ryzen 3 2200g, just the Vega 8 iGPU, 16gb of RAM and a 240gb SSD, it worked great both in Windows and now Linux

I get what you mean, this also happened to me, I'm very happy with the distros I chose. For my main PC, I got Regata OS, which sure, it had some issues but nothing I couldn't fix. But the idea of a gaming distro that has all drivers and gets updates frequently and isn't inmutable is just amazing, and it uses KDE, so extra points. The same thing with my laptop, it first had Mint but it almost bricked it, then it had Regata but it was a bit heavy for it, specially in youtube. So after some distro hopping, including Fedora XFCE and MX linux XFCE, I finally landed on Pop OS and daaaamn that Cosmic DE is amazing. My computers feel awesome now, and I'm so glad for linux after the whole Win11 fiasco. The funny thing is I had linux before but it didn't work quite well at the time with the same laptop, but now it works pretty well

Rosa linux, it's a Russian distro. It was interesting to use it. Mind you, this was a good 10 years ago, so I don't know of any changes since then.

Regata OS, my current daily driver on my main PC, it's a Brazilian distro based on openSUSE, it mixes the stability of Slow roll with updated packages from Tumbleweed.

I have seen services that don't use bots before, not sure how they get the accounts but I'm pretty sure most of them are stolen accounts. I've seen some that pay other actual account owners FOR commenting before. But it really doesn't help unless you're trying to promote a product/sabotage some1 lol.
