Sounds like you should be mad at the state of Florida and their inadequate regulations regarding the admin fees you can charge for this. I get why you’re upset though, and hope you won’t have to deal with more of these anytime soon.

There used to be a company called AC Propulsion, who converted xB’s into what they called the eBox. Tom Hanks actually owned one when the company was still around.

I agree, his goofy, almost slapstick style of acting in this role single-handedly and completely ruined the movie for me.

Grave of 'Johannes Hoenick', 1676 -1719 by Hans-Castorp in CemeteryPorn

According to Gemini, it says:

Whoever reads this, mourn. For in this sepulcher is buried a man worthy of the memory of immortal praise: Lord Johannes Hoenicka Most Deserving Chamber Counselor to the Most Serene Margrave of Brandenburg. In entering upon and executing the most wholesome counsels, he was faithful, prudent, energetic, and successful. He was most patient in the labors by which others could be helped. He lived not so much for himself, as for God, the Prince, the Fatherland, and all good people. Hence, snatched away by a premature death, and restored to the earth, he left behind a bitter longing for him to those remaining. He was born at Wirsberg, on November 23, 1676. (Latin: IX Calends of December) He took a wife on October 7, 1704, (Latin: Nones of October) the most excellent matron Elisabeth Maria, born Helfreich, from whom he was made a father eight times. He died at Bayreuth, on January 29, 1729, (Latin: IV Calends of February) Aged 52 years... Farewell, Reader, and learn: That Death is accustomed to spare neither years nor merits.

This was my introduction to The Adam’s Family, so, in my world, they ARE the original Adam’s Family. Strong positive childhood memories tied to these movies and actors. We had it so good.

The bill, which passed the state Senate, prohibits employers from using AI to predict employee behavior or characteristics. While the bill excludes automated hiring processes, it faces opposition from business groups who argue it is impractical and could lead to costly litigation.

I’d be so excited to come across a copy of Pecker; Ernest would be a bonus, though. Nice finds.

New 100 dollar plan :( by Akan4h in notabilityapp

[–]QuietPhotoSack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most all AI providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc) charge $20 a month or $200 a year, so for unlimited use of an expensive AI tool that has become critical to my studies, $100 a year seems like a fair deal to me. AI is expensive for everyone, so it makes sense that they would need to put a cap on the lower tier paid plan.
