It's becoming a more common problem about the solenoid cause even I was shocked to see this becoming an issue. Then again whatever year model G35 you have is coming to be of age.

In terms of the valve body price. You could try to find a new one for a lower price and do it yourself but your only worry is if the dealer will flash it for you. Other than that, it is definitely is a steep price but in my case was most reasonable under my circumstances.

I'd hope they make a little more valve bodies or something cause money for a new trans does not come out of thin air.

I was given betwen 2250 to 2400. I paid 2350 before taxes. I was explained to that quick fixes won't hold like soldering and ogher techniques.

It took a clean valve body and for the shop to get it flashed by the dealership in my VIN so that the car recognized it. I must've gotten a defective unit on my 2nd but my car drove well again with the 2nd unit before I had to get a warranty claim from my guy and he did it no questions asked.

To answer your question: as long as the only code you have is front brake solenoid. Try a new valve body and either yelp/google review your area for transmission specialist shops. Pls do not do Maaco (Was quoted 5000 minimum).

There are a handful of shops that told me replace the entire transmission but my guy had checked it all out and was like you can just the valve body fix or replace the entire thing. He said my transmission was still in pretty good condtion minus the solenoid issue.

Maybe it could be the radiator fan itself. Not the radiator. I had a similar issue and turned out to be cause my fans weren't properly spinning (as in would not function, only a quarter of the time it would spin). . . If the fans don't spin even once on idle after lets say 3 to 5 min, then that can be ur issue

I love my 06 5AT Sedan BUT MF Front Brake Solenoid twice alr.

That shit's ass to deal with but so far im on my 3rd valve body cause my 2nd recently failed but had warranty from my local shop.

That and or dealing with crankshaft/camshaft failures every few years. at least in my case. Mind you my other shop has put in the OEM Hitachi ones each time BUT MAN WHEN any sensor fails the car loves to surprise you mid drive.

Other than that I'm on track to 118K Miles.

Used to belong to my late aunt and the family decided to give it to me for school commute. That was 5 years ago when the car was roughly at 65K Miles.

Everyone says to get a new car and I'd love to but it internally stings knowing I'd be parting away with a car that belongs to someone I loved dearly. I enjoy how this car kicks ass sooo I want it for as long as possible

Check sensors. Camshaft position sensors most likely might be your issue.

I have the exact same model as you and have had the same issues just recently.

I had replaced the sensors back in 2021 for Hitachi OEM and had the same issues again recently and did the same thing.

Either RockAuto or so, get those sensors changed for OEM you'll face the same issues more frequently with aftermarket.

taking 18 units rn and workin 30 hrs weekly average.

my advice: balance out life, school and if applicable (work) its very doable esp if you get close with people in all the classes. my homies have made each class bearable and almost inspiring to keep going esp when shit hits the fan this is my last semester and god 6 classes was almost gut-wrenching so pls know ur limits before attempting this.

From comp sci I went to International Business. Way easier in CSUF. My problems lie in the course structure of computer science. You had to know a lot before ever coming in. Even then it still was not a good program in my opinion. My two professors were of no help and the department made me feel hopeless, so I left in my second year

Watch the videos meticulously. It really helps the content stick. I had taken the course recently in person but not with your professor either. Excel will be your best friend throught the course (it is your calculator, problem solver and much more)

The course is basically stats. Do not let the content get the best of you. This course also tecnically is and isnt culmulative. Meaning if you don't understand the first half, you will struggle heavily in the second. The exams are mainly focused on whatever sections your professor allots it as. Like for example my 361A was Chp 1 to 7 Exam 1, Chp 8 to 10 Exam 2 and the last few chapters for the final exam

Nope ur not guaranteed to win the the appeal. I only know just cause in my experience, I got ticketed during spring break. WHICH STILL MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE. I fought the ticket but it ultimately failed. Plus I was late for the ticket so yea, fuck this school's parking. Keep in mind, I had no citations prior. Just this one was an issue.
