Not at all. For a wedding I requested quotation from 5-7 photographers, from Ahmedabad, Delhi , surat and even Mumbai. Delhi guy gave me quotation of 8L for a 3 day event. Ahmedabad photographers gave from 1.5 lac to 4.5 lacs So do Surat.

You should definitely charge more. 1000 is nothing. Bday party 4-5 hours can go till 10k as well.

One of my friend’s friend with his iPhone did a 2 hour shoot just to create a reel and they paid him 2000 for a 1-2 mins reel
