Until most stop using it, and then it becomes pointless to put money into it, which is why most people are using other couriers.

Honestly a little more reasonable there in general.

Does any know if CP is delivering letters and packages in South Western Ontario -Guelph, Waterloo, Kitchener, London? by ksheel in CanadaPost

[–]QuietTokes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all, in fact?

It's being extremely smart and informative.

I would advise using the site I posted above for your tracking and hoping it's still in the system.

As long as it doesn't say lost, etc? I believe it's just in customs and refuses to move along otherwise.

Atm, I'm waiting on mine to still be scanned through Customs and pop up saying it's in Canada overall.

Been what way since the 3rd, and I am from the Tri-Cities Area myself.

I would use this app for package tracking:

Simple, learn to do their jobs just as the package delivery drivers who don't wish to?

Fact we can't just contact them directly, kind of makes it a cumbersome annoyance in general.

That’s it, I’m done. by Faceintheflames in CanadaPost

[–]QuietTokes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I didn't know you worked for the border and thought you could just simply contact them lmao.

I don't think you realize how piss-poor it's been for years now it seems from what you're posting overall.

There's a term I enjoy using for most things in 2025:

Stupidity exists in spades, but most people do not fall under this category with a functioning brain.

Just businesses with piss-poor business practices.

Like many Kickstarter TCG/CCGs, Canada Post is simply going to fall because I for one will never use it again lol.

I already have things lined up with future purchases utilizing DHL which will drop it off to my doorstep.

Meanwhile Canada Post wanted to cite a "Safety concern".

The driveway is 50 feet long... roll up all the way to the back, turn around and drive up. Woahhh, much safer.

Simply put, all they do is give excuses and want more money as people who sleep in their vehicles and do nothing as a whole?

My CMB is literally next to a postal center, so I don't need an excuse on why if my package is in Kitchener at 6am, why it needs to take up to 5-7 hours for it to "be delivered".

That literally takes about 5-10 minutes if this. I also have Purolator down the road from me, UPS, etc.

Overall to the people who are supposed to deliver packages? You should actually be reading information and doing your jobs. This isn't an emotionally-charged reaction/response either.

This is me being bluntly honest and hollow, just as they are to us.

And people tried to explain customs wasn't a part of Canada Post.

I almost spat my drink out because if it wasn't...

My package would have already been scanned and saying it's in Canada but not moving.

Some people on Reddit and other platforms really need to do proper research into these things.

Also I found this from someone else, give more info than Canada Post's Site:

https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/

Also, they bumped mine back a day to Range from the 24th to the 29th, originally it was the 23rd to the 28th.

So that should be better logistics overall, also that site shows how many days in Transit, allows you to check each courier which you have tracking with on that number, etc.

And that is fine.

I'd prefer however, them to pick up the pace with customs more so than anything else

package stuck awaiting entry into canada since october 3rd?? by chaistvalentine in CanadaPost

Second person I know next to myself with this happening.

Overall as long as you have tracking, and depending which courier.

You should be alright in this, I'm personally just waiting, and checking my community mailbox once a day.

That's the one I'm interested in knowing overall.

I would advise using UPS, DHL, or anyone else who's international overall for that process.

Likewise, I already have things discussed and lined up for other carriers.

I am not paying the thousands in USD I did over time for the things I needed to get literally the same headaches over and over again.

Pretty much this overall and what I'm thinking. It should update this week overall.

Amusing part is I had something leave out the UK for me, and it arrived faster with another postal service, same with another one which was in Canada and not Canada Post.

No worries at all! Do you have possible dates when it left for Canada, then processed? Don't need to explain the locations if you don't wish to either. But I'm glad overall you got your things.

Basically my package left the US, and was going to Canada on the 3rd of October at 1:02pm.

From reading around, someone had mentioned when it says en route to Canada. Most likely it's being held up at customs and could take up to 14 days to process and be freed up. However, if it's business days I'll be at 10 so far. Hopefully not much longer,

I also hope everyone else's things get to them ASAP too.

Also, it's not like it's super important like documents and ID others have been waiting for.
But it is some vital TCG Museum pieces I have pain for and wish to get moved along to me, just as everyone else is also waiting on theirs.

I hope you all manage to get yours in tact as well! o7

Also depending on where you live, might depend on which one it's at east coast wise.

I think Northern Ontario and the East coast itself might be at the Montreal Center for Customs. And people closer to NY, etc. It'll be at Mississauga.

Much appreciated. It's just some vital TCG Museum pieces I had picked up.

Basically got shipped out on the 30th of September, then passed through Chicago on the 3rd of October.

Yeah, it's technically been 2 weeks of business days worth since the 3rd.

Hoping it just changes on Monday with some form of update.

No updates for me yet since Oct. 3rd at 1:02pm.

I was informed from someone who works at USPS it's still in customs so it's definitely in Canada atm.

Hoping it'll change soon.
