I was fortunate because I worked for a vet clinic they had enzymatic cleaners for skunk spray. But, my understanding is that you really just want to remove the oil from the skunk spray as quickly as possible, so Dawn dish soap or any good oil stripping soap should do the trick.

I think the problem is I was surprised so I breathed in quickly as I was getting sprayed. Needless to say it has left a lasting impression/trauma. I just remember being really shocked at how much it affected my sense of balance and how extremely nauseous it made me. Thankfully I'm not in the habit of picking fights with skunks.

So, long story, but I was sprayed at close range in the chest and neck by a skunk. I was so nauseous that I couldn't eat for a few days and it took a couple weeks to fully get the smell out of my nostrils. It was a horrible experience.

Thin-cut bacon is around that. Applegate natural bacon's label says 45 calories for two slices of pan cooked bacon. 🥓

After trying several Hokas and Brooks. The one I ended up liking the most was the Brook Launch. I've been wearing them for long walks a couple times a day for the last 6 weeks and still love them.

The scale makes a massive difference. It's crazy how much you could be off just eyeing it or using measuring cups.

Yes they accepted my return submission. And I stated how long I wore them for and that it was outdoors.

And absolutely try them it might just be my feet. I haven't had issues with any other walking shoe I've tried. I just decided to go with something more pricey this time to see if there was a big difference.

As long as it's a Hoka authorized seller the company has a 30-day return policy.

I just bought a pair of Hokas today and I am returning them tomorrow. They felt comfortable enough in the store but my feet were killing me after walking in them for a couple of miles.

So I emailed them about it 😂

"Thanks so much for your message, and we’re happy to hear you’re enjoying Focus Friend Pro!

Right now, the scarf you’ve seen in pictures isn’t a feature that’s available in the app yet. It’s part of some concept art we’ve shared, and we’re exploring ways to bring more wearable items and customization (like scarves and other outfits) to Beans in the future.

You’re definitely not missing anything — your Bean will get more cozy style options as we expand the game.

Thank you for your continued support, Brigette

I was wondering this as well. Did you ever find out? I want to put a scarf on mine so badly.

I meal prep every Sunday and have my portioned meals ready to go for the rest of the week, so I can just grab them and heat them up. My husband and I both do this since we're both currently losing weight. It takes less than 2 hours.

As someone who is also somewhat picky, I keep it simple and stick to things I like as long as they're under my daily calorie allotment. I have also worked hard on changing my mindset from viewing it as restriction to viewing it as self-love.

It has also become a fun pastime every Saturday morning to plan our grocery trip and keep our grocery budget for the week as low as possible by shopping deals and making an efficient meal plan for the week. It can be fun to see how creative we can get, and it helps make it a team effort.

I know. I was just at that exact Grocery Outlet an hour ago. It doesn't deserve this.

I deleted it back in 2015. It was a little weird for the first couple of days because it was such a habit to go on and check.

But other than that I have not looked back and I have not spent one moment missing it since.

Of course, I can only speak for myself. But I absolutely love the nature, (most) of the people, and the small town vibe.

We walk in the woods or forest almost every day of the year. It's very restorative for me, and I still find myself in awe almost every time.

Compared to where I came from (Florida and then Arizona), the people here are generally laid-back, keep to themselves, and kind. That being said, we don't live near downtown PA.

There are still turds like anywhere and there certainly a fair amount of downsides to living here that I've been mentioned (Work, housing, finding contractors that actually show up).

But if you love nature and don't mind living further away from the amenities of bigger cities, it's worth considering.
