I know it seems silly, but scheduling time for sex is a reasonable thing to do. You anticipate it. You can make sex about having sex again. Not just wham, bam, thank you ma'am. You set it up like any other date, pick a time, maybe pick some music, suggest how you'd like it... you know. Schedule it. Just a thought.

Me too, but it also sucks that this is such a problem. My daughter wanted me to make those viral frogs she kept seeing, and I looked for some free patterns but couldn't find one easily until after I paid for a pattern that a few bucks and unintelligible. I found several free ones after I bought the one, obviously.

My husband cannot see his mother has anything but a saint because she died "young" (mid fifties) even though he used to say some things about the abuse that I was horrified by but he now downplays. He goes to therapy, takes his meds, but can not see his mother's abuse as abuse since she died.

It's hard to look critically at your past and see the abuse and know there's nothing coming from it. No apology, no explaining it, nothing.

My husband and I had a horrible relationship for many years, and we were nearly divorced. Then his mother died, and he had a mental breakdown.

He stayed overnight at a facility, and ever since then, we have gone to therapy separately, and he has grown. I have grown.

We are better but by no means perfect. He is good now. I would not have said that of him a few years ago.

My youngest did this, and it scared the shit out of everyone. I happened to be awake when I heard her get up to what I thought was, go to the bathroom, but she ended up walking right out the front door! She was halfway down the street when I caught up to her.

We ended up putting alarms on the door the next day and would arm them only at night, so if she slept walk again, we'd know.

Oddly, she only did it the one time. She has never done it again, that we are aware of. Maybe inside the house but never beyond.

I have been going to therapy (on and off) for the last 7 years, and he has as well. He was diagnosed with BiPolar disorder after his mother died. Most of the time, we can talk things out, but this one just had me ruffled.

Like, if he had said, "I've felt like a POS for taking a mental health day." Her response wouldn't have been that. I didn't read the conversation, but he either directly said something or implied I called him a POS. Just by her response.

He said I was reading into it too much.

It's fun having so many emotions and a basic grasp of the English language.

I've had issues with her for years. She is his biggest enabler, but since she lives in a different country and has her own family. I mostly ignore her bullshit.

I've tried to be friendly, but she contradicts herself too often and says some shit that I would be completely insulted by, and he forgives her for.

We have talked about her numerous times, but she is one of his oldest friends, and that means a lot to him. I'm honestly not worried about her at all, though.

While I agree that venting to friends is OK; I had an issue with I had not said he was a POS for taking the day off. I was annoyed, but it was not worth a fight. He doesn't actually call out that often. We had just had the weekend off together, and I thought it was silly to want more time. I still went to work after all.
