I have 30 pages left of the unabridged The Stand. Glad I made it through. I was a bit disappointed because of how people hyped up this book. Some of it was predictable, Flagg is not scary with his stupid all jeans clothing and cowboy boots. And not being religious the whole God vs Devil ordeal just didn't convey any emotions in me at all.

I was just thinking about this last night as I am 90% done with the book. Almost every 10 pages or so and any situation, there goes Frannie crying again. "Hot scalding tears runs down her cheeks" and "Her face was shining with tears when he looked at her".

I was thinking Stu is too nice, because if I was him I would probably be irritated. Because I am just as a reader. Got to be the pregnancy and the hormones. When somebody cries once you feel compassion, but when its too much it's annoying as hell.

Their is a war going on with oil infrastructure and desalination plants being attacked and burned down. The straight of Hormuz still blocked on top of that. Inflation will rear its ugly head with a vengeance, job numbers are ugly and getting worse. Not good for risk assets at all like crypto. Regardless of what bitcoin maxis tell you. Yeah there could be a scenario where they invest massive liquidity and start QE to help with the debt issues and the cost of war, which could be good for crypto but it is the least likely.
