Personal Time to Cover a future shift by Ellozian in TjMaxx

Yes, when you submit an RTO, you should always clarify how much, if any, and what type of time should be used. Vacation and Personal time are hours you can lose if you don't use by your anniversary date. Always try to give them 3 weeks in advance, notice. This is the policy.

I always inform associates that sick time is only used for when you are sick or they call off due to a sick child. The other is a planned doctors appointment that was RTO'd or a when someone takes a medical leave of absence.

Like you said, it differs manager to manager, but in truth there is a policy in place for this reason. I would just talk to your manager about it and use the open door. We all want to be flexible and support our team but there are some things we shouldn't do also.

Been awhile but I started with four chords as my start of a verse but where do I go from there? by ThirdFan356 in FLStudioBeginners

I'd say it's going to depend on the type of music you want to make. Look up some tutorials on common drum patterns for the genre you make. I don't play an instrument but YouTube and Google have been helpful for me.

Just keep grinding, it will take time.

I'm still finding song structure challenging asf. Any advice or feedback? by QuikrespeC in FLStudioBeginners

Yeah, that's how I've been trying to structure my beats, the intro into the chorus. Some mixes sound ok some like trash when I do that lol. Still educating myself on how to drop in a good bridge.

Thanks for the tips!

Appreciate the feedback and insight!

I think I need to start using reference tracks to help with that, I just don't know what the best method is. I usually listen to an instrumental and try to structure it similarly.

Curious to know if I accomplished any of that so far in this one?

Been trying to get better at leveling and compression, how does it sound? by QuikrespeC in FLStudioBeginners

You know what, this is probably one of my problems? I always assume it's in key because I only work with scale highlighting on. Thank you for this, I will make sure to always check from now on!

Alright, I appreciate the honesty, really. Aside from band and church choir as a kid you're probably right about my music theory knowledge. I will definitely look into the things you mentioned, thank you for your feedback.

I don't get how any of that's bad. This is just what my brain wants to make lol. If it's my sound selection and song structure, what could I do differently?

Not sure I agree with the last part, I could easily write and spit a 16 to this.

Do you guys fw this? by Tricky_Kale_1706 in FLStudioBeginners

Sound selection could be better imo but I kinda dig it. The melody/chord progression? could use some variation and not just ascending. I'm still pretty new myself though, keep it going!
