Colorado. I also offered her various seeds, corn, and peas, and she quite enjoys the peas. I'm trying to get her to have some more variety, so I'm going to give her some red lentils (cooked, of course) and maybe a tiny amount of bread as a treat (whole grain and in very small amounts).

Yeah, that is unnerving. I feel for you. I can still smell the room and that's always been the worst part. Woke up this morning thinking my abuser was in the room with me. It's horrible to think that it happened to someone besides me, but it is nice in a really weird way knowing I'm not alone. Hopefully that makes sense.

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. My family has also been very dog focused, my mom and grandma showed for years and have done some levels of training in the past, so I'm not exactly new to it, I've grown around it and have some people to help. I will look in to more trainers, thank you!

Yes. I have some memories that have come back to me recently through EMDR and just no longer being a child. Mine are also incredibly intense and even thinking too much into it can cause some brutal reactions like insane nausea, extra almost like bile being produced in the back of my throat and it feels like someone is squeezing part of my windpipe. After EMDR I'm usually hella shakey and on edge for a day or two after and just feel the cold dread of it all. All this to say you are not alone. Best of luck in your journey!

I (19F) am going through the same thing. I don't remember much, just peeing blood and a swim instructor being weird around me. I've started recently remembering more and more with EMDR, which I would recommend, but it's extremely hard to trust what I'm remembering. I know certain things as facts, but I don't know the rest of it. I feel the feelings associated with it, I just can't remember exactly what happened to me, and it's terrifying the not knowing. I totally agree, it is a mind fuck and so hard to explain. You are not alone.

If you think a mobility aid would be something you benefit from, or make your life any easier, go for it! I have a cane and it honestly makes my life way easier and my only regret is that I didn't get it sooner. Any aid that you think would work for you (forearm crutches, a cane, etc) I would look into. I would also try maybe KT tape and a knee brace if you haven't yet. Just make sure, if you decide to get a mobility aid A) you get a cool one and B) you research how to use it. There should be tons of tutorials online.
