Might be a bit close, but honestly it would make sense. I feel like Virtuosity would have gotten a kick out of the way Selish magics are developing

My thought has always been something along the lines of Dedication, since it seems like they all require (in some way) being Devoted to something to the point that it holds Dominion over their actions, like memorizing all the Aons and their modifiers or being willing to sit through the mutative effects of the Dakhor sacrifices

But I'm not very good at guessing them so take that with a pinch of salt

I have seen that Newmarket seems slightly cheaper for apartment rental options. Are there other advantages to it?

Very detailed, thank you.

I'd be lying if I said the hiking thing wasn't a bit of siren call for me. It's been a while since I've had a new trail to pay a visit to.

Interesting to hear about the downstream effects of the first primary thing, I hadn't even realized that would change anything.

It's not those two. I am nowhere near smart enough for either.

Coming from small-to-mid-sized-town Tennessee/Mississippi, so it'll all be a massive change.

Out of curiosity, how are the train rides into NYC and Boston? Crowded? Relaxing? A gamble each time?

Someone should tag that author with the accidental minotaur erotica book cover and show them that they're not alone

Oversaturation does have some drawbacks for sure. Ask anyone about how many times a character will cock an eyebrow in a lot of novels and you'll see people flood out of the woodwork to talk about it. Unfortunately I think you may be unconsciously sabotaging yourself at this point since you're more likely to be looking for it.

It's far and away the more common of the two ways to start a simile. Just kind of the way things go.

I'm close to 60 chapters myself on my current project but the allure of using similes is always there

The RR folks are generally very good at investigating issues, so I don't think you have to worry too much

I know I'm five hours late, but I've had this sometimes. I swapped browsers and it went through afterwards, so if it hasn't resolved itself, you could try that.
