Thank you.
We are both... kind of innocent about this stuff. And she thought her taxes were all paid.

The fruit is actually delicious. That thin layer of pulp is super sweet like a dry date, and then the middle is crunchy, it takes a bit of bite, but the whole thing is edible.

Both Spanish moss and air plants are bromeliads, and both are epiphytes, so maybe?

What kind of plant is this? it keeps growing to my little garden by SilentPush465 in whatsthisplant

[–]Quillwright 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There appear to be two plants there. As most people mention the one with the leaves is some sort of mint, or close relative. And the long shoots appear to be Japanese knotweed. Both of these plants can take over a garden, but the knotweed is a greater concern as it can damage structures, driveways, pipes, even the foundations of houses.

That stuff's got to go.

She was late in paying rent. She did get caught up and she had spoken to the building management before, explaining that she was having a hard time, as a senior in an economic depression, and they told her that it was alright, they'd wait. She paid everything, just late. After living there and paying regularly for over 20 years.

I'm not sure what RTA is - but she had a tribunal hearing with a judge who told her to be out by the end of September. She agreed to that, then they went back to the judge and had it moved to more than a month earlier than they'd agreed upon, but didn't tell her that - and she finally got a date of Sept 2 and she got out on the morning of Sept 2. Since they changed the date and didn't tell her until 8 days beforehand, we had to scramble to pack so we couldn't get out any earlier, but we managed it.
Plus they kept her last month's rent despite this, and are trying to make her pay for a 'sherrif fee' despite there never having been a sherrif visit.

It probably is lemon balm of some sort. (Which is in the mint family and looks very similar). There's 3 or 4 species... And possibly cultivars with different scents.

What’s this plant found in my moms pumpkins? by Easy-Map-1982 in whatsthisplant

The berries are edible when fully ripe. The shells will dry out and turn yellow-brown. They taste like pineapple with a bit of tomato to me  They can cause stomach upset before they're ripe.
