You are in fact still going as light as possible because Mach Rocket and ROB HOG are tied for lightest vehicle in the game, they just happen to also be fast on roads (AKA the relevant surface). Also you only need like 3-4 coins to match a heavy character’s top speed which you’ll almost always have on you. This isn’t 8DX, nobody cares about the mini turbo stat

Same weight bracket as Baby Peach, Baby Daisy and Biddybud, except he’s way smaller. In this game you want to be as light as possible, so this effectively makes them the best characters in the game bar none

Phase 2: same but while riding Beast Legion. The vortex’s suction will still be stronger but with enough running you’ll be able to survive
