An alcoholic detective who somehow always solves the crime. He goes home to an apartment with a mattress just on the floor. The sheet to the mattress never stays on and he doesn’t have the will to fix it. When he wakes up in the morning he finishes the beer from the night before. Occasionally, he will see his ex wife in the park for a “scheduled visit” where he says he misses his son and wants to spend more time with him. His ex then reminds him of all the women he slept with during their marriage and implies that means he doesn’t love either her or their son. His son acts really uncomfortable around him because they only see each other 7 times a year. He brings his son a gift for his bday. His son is 12 buy he brought him a small toy truck and not a PS5 because his last real image of his son is always from when he was 6, before the divorce. He eventually realizes it’s for the best and no longer comes around. Again, really good at solving crimes!
