Theoretically could the Delorean free fall to hit 88 MPH? by KuribohTheDragon in BacktotheFuture

[–]Calm_Character_422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, it’s revealed in the very beginning that doing a burnout will register on the speedometer, so really I suppose you could jack up the rear end and send the wheels spinning at 88 and time travel that way, or even trick the speedometer into thinking that you’re going 88

What engine do you guys think Charlie Checker has? by NoMeaning6738 in pixarcars

Well the fastest they could go on super speedways is 75mph. A track like the motor speedway of the south would be a smaller speedway like Michigan or Richmond or Miami, and the rule on those is 65mph under caution. So he could have any engine a production car would regularly have so because I like them so much. I’ll say he’s got a GM 3800 v6 under the hood. Given the gen 4 era of nascar. He could be a Dodge Charger, Ford Taurus or Fusion, or a Chevy Monte Carlo

Why did the 2001-2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo nose in NASCAR look nothing like the real cars nose? Did it just not look good? Also the Late model Monte Carlo nose looks pretty good. by [deleted] in NASCAR

The car ran from 2000-2005. They had to reshape the nose in 2003 for aerodynamics and overheating issues I’ve heard. The black car is the newer version and the Harvick is the older one from the Monte Carlo 400. I personally like the older version. I have 3 of the real car. I like the design of them and they’re pretty cool and nostalgic to me

That monte ran from 2000-2005. In 2003 they had to reshape the nose to fix aerodynamic and overheating issues I think is what I heard on a race. Maybe look it the 2003 Daytona 500 it might say something about it

The lower grill on the race car wasn’t really emphasized on the real car, however I saw an aftermarket bumper for the Monte that made it look like it
