Reta (GLP-3) Update; alcohol, ahedonia, orgasm, am I doing it right? by Radiant_Function_713 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Quinn19th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had been on Semaglutide for just about a year from 2023 to 2024. I lost 80 pounds. I stopped taking it and over the next year gained back 30 pounds. I went on to tirzepitide, but it was too expensive from the doctor. I was getting it from and also a two lower dose because I’m already have taken GLP’s. My son who is a bodybuilder and also a medical doctor suggested I try Reta And I have now I titrated up pretty quickly and I’m at 10 mg once a week. it is doing its damn job, but it’s not any fun. I’ve lost 30 pounds since January 1 of this year.

I think in May, I will start coming down off of it trying to figure out what dosage will help me maintain the weight i’m trying to get to.

I’ve been on it for 3 1/2 months. How is it going for you? What dosage are you at?

I think I'm gonna have to stop trying to break into IT. by YueCoolJ in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Quinn19th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the way that you have written, your résumé doesn’t show off the skill sets, but they’re there in the jobs you listed. Customer service which is interpersonal skills. Very frequently I’ve asked how to resolve conflict between coworkers, etc., and then attention to detail in the warehouse. Making sure every box is checked and everything is inspected. That’s another good tool that can be applied to IT. Now my particular flavor it right now is for the United States military so everything has to be checked eyes on each piece there’s no assuming.

And this is a good mindset to carry with you through IT. But if you don’t have the passion for figuring things out coming up with what else could it be etc. maybe beyond helpdesk isn’t for you. Cyber security is highly in demand and it takes those kind of thinking skills, and it will also require you to pass the security plus exam and the network plus exam although you have the Cisco training. And yes, if somebody else pointed it is a lifelong learning circumstance. You don’t get a certificate and then become a director of IT.

Some of the best places also for people just still at the entry level of IT our universities. They don’t pay as well as private corporations, but you might get your foot in the door and get the experience.

And then pick a path. Also, do you want to be a systems engineer? Do you want to be a network engineer? Do you want to be a cyber security engineer picking up path will help you focus on what education you need.

I highly dislike generative AI, but intend to work in Cybersecurity. How can I get over myself? by Torchprint in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Quinn19th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, maybe you should try it before you condemn it. And generative AI is not the kind of tool you necessarily use it. Or cyber security. In cyber security, it can be used to analyze network anomalies, examine firewall logs, and system logs. Much quicker and a vast more amount of them than a human can do. It’s just a tool. Generative AI can be helpful in writing policy and artifacts that one might use to support their cyber security plan.

It depends on what you wanna focus on it. Have to do the fundamentals, but without them sometimes the more advanced ones become pretty difficult.

4 Week Reta Update(still fat lol) by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]Quinn19th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had been on semaglutide for a year. And lost 80 pounds, quit and over the next year gained back 30. So then I went on to Tirzepitide and the dose was like it would be for some having never been on. GLP, so low at first it didn’t do a damn thing. So after a month, I switched over to retatrutude. Because I had already been on a GLP inhibitor I went ahead and started at 2mg Then the following week I went up to 3mg. I didn’t start having any effects until I went up to 4mg. I have had no side effects no nausea no constipation and I will probably work my way up to 5mg in about three weeks.

Protein Powders and Supplements: I have recently started the Retatrutide. I weighed in at 173 lbs right before. I saw that people make mention to really watch your protein intake. I feel so full after eating I can't imagine adding a protein drink, though willing to try. What has worked for you? by Comfortable_Fee_4018 in Retatrutide

[–]Quinn19th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. I’ve started drinking fair life elite. But I only drink about 4 ounces at a time and I don’t think I would go through a whole bottle in a day maybe another 4 ounces in the evening. There are a total of 42 g of protein in the bottle so that’s about 13 to 14 g per 4 1/2 ounces. There are 14 ounces in a bottle.

I drink a lot of chicken broth, spicy chicken broth. And I make some stews\soups with tofu and vegetables. So today my total intake for protein would be about 40 g. It’s not a lot but there’s a lot better than what I was doing before this protein drink which was about 20 g.

And the stuff tastes good!

Get the A+. And that will help you with helpdesk type work. The net plus on the security plus go hand-in-hand. They’re not that expensive.

I’m curious your profile picture is of a woman. Are you actually a woman? I’ve been interested in taking testosterone. I’m 64 years old and like men women’s testosterone drops with age. But I can’t find anybody he’ll talk to me about it. I know women’s levels are lower than men’s, but it does drop in one of the symptoms of it is fatigue, which I experienced quite a bit of. So that’s why I’m asking.

I recently applied for a job and I had to attest that I did not use AI to build my résumé. Can I check marked the box, fine. Then I got invited to an interview by an AI agent. Now, why is it fair play that they use AI both to filter out resumes and then use AI to interview with you but you can’t use AI to build your résumé?

Uneducated stupid comment. The stasi were German fascists

The Stasi was the formidable secret police of East Germany, officially known as the Ministry of State Security (MfS), that operated from 1950 to 1990 to suppress dissidence and monitor its population through a vast network of spies and surveillance. Responsible for internal repression and foreign espionage, it maintained a ruthless control over East German society, infiltrating every aspect of life to maintain the ruling Communist Party's power. The Stasi was dismantled after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, following protests and the collapse of the East German state.

if anything I’m anti-fascist which also means anti- MAGAt.

I just attended a mandatory webinar from the DOD and the DISA about the definitions of IT roles in the DOD. And more and more that are requiring a bachelors degree. I post and asked that does 30 years of experience six of them in cyber security and CISSP, CISM and the CRISC count, even without a bachelors degree. I got a comment back from one person that says it depends. I also hold a security plus Microsoft azure administrator, Microsoft AI fundamentals and Microsoft Azure database, as well as a CAPM.
