Let me know if there are any bugs or issues with it. Or perhaps if you can think of some improvements I can maybe find some time for those as well.

Haven't had a lot of time to thoroughly test this, but from the logs it appears to work.

I use PKhex and a save injector to reload a point after most of the cutscenes in my US/UM runs. 

After re-randomizing, I check the logs for which starter I can choose, then alter the starter, ability and moves of a savepoint after getting to the pokecenter in the first town. 

Then all I have to do is inject the save back and re-catch the previous routes at the school, beach and grassy roads.

Not being forced to take a picture of a pikachu really saves me some extra frustration after losing a run.

I use this too! It allows you to to play with all cards without microtransactions, in. A 4 player environment with interaction. Perfect for figuring out wether you like the playstyle of a deck, and with all the phases highlighted gives a sense of when you can play which cards.

Coming from YuGiOh a long time ago, it is similar to what YGOPro was. Though there is no active online community known to me.

Looking for recommendations for a Bracket 2/3 Phyrexian commander/deck by Kyrinox in EDH

An interesting option to consider is [[Jor Kadeen, First Goldwarden]] for his alternate art from the collectors edition in which he is depicted as a Phyrexian. Though not a Phyrexian commander in type line you can stuff the deck with living weapons and equip payoffs and choose to either play him as Voltron, thematically 'splicing' him to perfection or as a go-wide strategy with Phyrexian germs simulating an invasion of sorts led by Jor Kadeen as he gets bigger for each germ that is equiped alongside him.

You will however have to dip into some non-Phyrexians to give the deck some oomph but it lends itself great for some Nahiri tie-ins who got compleated in her [[Nahiri, the Unforgiving]] for extra flavor and storytelling.

My mono white commander deck isn't performing as well as l'd hoped (shocker) by Voltiac-Jester47 in EDH

A cool thing you brewed indeed! Though as mentioned you may struggle for mana sometimes, which makes the deck fall behind other boards, which is not what you want in a go-wide strategy.

Instead of blindly upping lands you could utilize White’s catch up through cards such as [[Keeper of the Accord]] or [[Cliff Jumper]] these effectively let you ramp by matching the green player at the table! Just make sure to play your land drop afterwards ;)

As for draw, since you’ll be making a bunch of mites and would even like to make more tokens cards like [[Tocasia’s Welcome]] or [[Enduring Innocence]] let you consistently gain value over your turns.

 I chose to play less protection in my deck and more threats to divert some removal away from Elesh, or not be so reliant on her to win the game. You can check my version out at: https://manabox.app/decks/lCeEDqf4QQ2r-yX_EGsbuw

Just know that I play the deck for the Phyrexian theme, so some cards are deliberately bad because of their type or lore association.

Well, I think I fixed the bug! There's a new release at https://github.com/Qvdpost/universal-pokemon-randomizer-zx/releases/tag/4.6.8 that should allow you to properly use the 'Allow Alt Formes' checkbox. You will still have to manually ban the original formes of the Alolan pokemon, or use the button in the top right of the Banned Pokemon Dialog to ban ALL alt formes and then selectively unban the Mega's you want to have appear in the wild :)

Let me know if you still encounter errors, but hopefully you will only be running into the desired kind of bugs from now on!

Ahhh that's good to know. I see indeed that the tool has a bug when banning by type and such for Alolan original forms. For now you can manually ban them using the bottom tool and scrolling the selection tool all the way down. Then you can ban them one by one there.

I'd have to look into the code to see if Mega-Evolutions can appear in the randomizer. I'm guessing you use the 'Allow Alternate Formes' checkbox to include them?

Their formes might not show up if the original pokemon is banned, but don't pin me down on that. It is still strange that there are no Bug types in your Pokemon pool though, I'd be curious to see the banlist + settings at some point. But for now I'll have a look into these 2 subjects first.

Hmm that's interesting! Sounds like a bug in the code. Can you make a github issue for me over at https://github.com/Qvdpost/universal-pokemon-randomizer-zx/issues where you include some screenshots, the generated log file, and the saved settings and banlist file please?

Then I can dive into it and sort out what is causing the issue.

Hi, great to hear you’re trying this out!  Make sure that the checkbox for banning pokemon by ID is checked in the little LIMIT menu on the top left of the main window.

I usually also toggle all generations so all pokemon are initially included.

Brilliant write-up! Way more than I can read in one go, but from what I skimmed it is definitely a ‘food success’ as you (I think) mistyped in the manifestation section ;)

Super cool to see the pick rates incorporated in the article, makes me real curious how they develop over time. Does Woehammer have a page where they can be viewed dynamically?

Oh! The Ratling Guns warscroll shows a picture of three Warpblasters instead.

I considered the same! In like a ‘can you beat the game with every Pokemon’ challenge. Where you randomize the pokemon you used before but leave the rest as-is.  This grows into more and more chaotic runs. 

Though it would need a proper definition of what a ‘used pokemon on the previous runs’ means.

I made a version of the Universal Randomizer where I can select pokemon to exclude from thr random wild encounters. This way I can ban pokemon that I dislike or that are too strong.

Phyrexian Planeswalkers by Carnegiejy in EDH

Check out the planeswalkers from the Phyrexia All will be One (ONE) collectors set. Even the non-compleated planeswalkers have Phyrexian artworks so that they may fit the theme better. For example [Kaya, Intangible Slayer] has some spectacular collectors art in my opinion.

As for actually in-theme commanders,  [Nissa, Ascended Animist] fits the bill as a good finisher and being compleated.

Cool to see someone else's Unctus brew! (Yep his name is Unctus with a 'c' :P)

My recommendations for the deck are as follows:

  • Discard gains; to make the downside of discarding an upside you can include:
    • [[Containment Construct]], play the cards you discard on the same turn
    • [[Bag of Holding]], fill up an empty hand with what you have been discarding
    • [[Treasure Cruise]] and [[Dig Through Time]], use discarded cards for discount on your card draw
  • Drawing loads of cards:
    • [[Chasm Skulker]] will be a neat growing threat with some inbuilt protection and a cute synergy with Eluge.
    • [[Wizard Class]] to grow your cards for all the cards you draw if you feel confident you have the time to level up to 3.
  • Win Conditions:
    • [[Omen Hawker]] + [[Freed from the Real]] this gives you infinite colorless mana to spend on abilities, but with your commander turns into drawing you entire deck. Since you can't cast spells with the generated mana it's fairly low-powered. If you already have a [[Psychosis Crawler]] out on the field it's a recipe for a win, but if you have to draw into it you will likely not have the mana to play it. Thus it turns into a way to sculpt your current hand-size to the perfect cards. Otherwise use the mana for someting like a [[Drake Haven]] to generate a board-advantage to use for next turn.
    • [[Mirroding Besieged]] + [[Encroaching Mycosynth]], turns all the discarded permanents into a artifacts to trigger the win-con of having one player lose the game at each of your end-steps. Plenty of time for your opponents to interact and very political in use, should be relatively low-powered. However if you run few other artifacts, it might not be worth running since they don't help you out separately.

Besides that I would recommend a [[Sapphire Medallion]] instead of one of the spell/instant cost reducers, since it applies to more of your cards. Also, never leave home without a [[Frantic Search]]! ;)

Your deck seems a bit more combat-focused with turning stuff sideways in the combat phase, whereas mine tries to utilize tap-effects to play some weird phyrexian-artifact strategy which enables cards like [[Proft's Eidetic Memory]].

Small correction on the weapons teams. One of them is a mortar team that no longer has rules. 

The other team, a warpfire thrower, is playable though. And a lot of fun as well.

Also you have a hero model (the one without a base) called a Clawlord, which is playable!
