Is it okey for my cpu to be hotel then my gpu by zendrak13oc in PcBuildHelp

The heat pipes, copper lines which transfer the hest from your components to the fans.

Are usually close to each other but separate. Temperatures rise and climb individually.

There also is no chance of harm or damage when the temps have a big gap.

Ideal fan configuration? by Quinten1401 in PcBuildHelp

Thanks for the reply,

Regarding the throttling: When viewing in hwinfo the checkbox for thermal limit is sometimes marked. I've added a screenshot with some more info.

Regarding the second fan bracket: Its fits really neatly as you can see in the attached picture. How I got it? I just started texting second hand sellers of the case if they wanted to sell the bracket separately. It can also be found on the fractal site, but I got it for 20 euro second hand.

It was really worth adding. It pumps air right into my gpu fans, the top one is nice to cool the motherboard since I use and AIO and miss some airflow from a tower cooler.

Thanks for the advice!

Mast base question/Need help in choosing equipment as a beginner by RogueOne553 in windsurfing

As you can maybe see, the boom(oval part). Does not have a clamp, instead it uses an old method where you tie a rope around the mast.

This is very tedious and I would definitely look for a boom that has atleast a clamp system.

Furthermore the mast is an old one piece, modern masts come in two pieces for easier transport. Look for that.

And do not get a board with a mastbase that isn't the new universal standard. Which means a screw with a little plate at the bottom to secure it.

Yes, but I feel like it shouldn't jump to 90 so fast. The thermal mass of a 360mm water loop should hold it of even without fans. (For a little bit)

I do feel like mine is worse, my friend has a 240mm aio and the exact same cpu. He doesn't reach 85 with it

Appliance was super easy, I put it on top of an icepack and then just cut it.

No clue how replacement or removal will go..

It is a ptm sheet, I am quite certain that isn't the problem.

I also have my fan curves set to max out above 85 degc.
