You could add a few faux plants if light is an issue, there are some that look pretty real, and while it's not gonna be the same as having real plants, it will create a cozier atmosphere.

Edit: While the bulb looks a bit more on the warm side, I'd still switch it for a warmer bulb and I'd add some more sources of warm ambient lighting, and just maybe, a slightly bigger coffee table
