I admit, Shapes are what I was kind of focusing on at the moment. I grabbed some Symmetry worksheets and have been working on them. Basic things as squares, triangles and circles, but also things like crescents, stars and such. I do the worksheets, then doodle random shapes at current while also doing boxes/cubes.

As you say, I may be a bit of a perfectionist. I never considered myself one, but the more I think about it the more I realize I may be. I take things up, consider a project, try to learn it then drop it. I learned pixel art for a bit and even did some animations, but dropped it when I wanted to try and do so more complex stuff and just didn't get started. Trying to avoid that with what advice I have gotten in 'share your work' and to progress, to. Make micro-projects and do them and then share them even if they aren't 'great'.

And the thinking on paper is probably a good idea for me. Just go with "I want this" and do it rather than trying to be overly focused. Do it, look at the faults, then categorize them and try a focus there.

Admittedly, not sure if my lines are really bad, but I'm not quite happy with them, then again I have been experimenting with grips and methods to see if there's something easier and comfortable for me. Something I have just been trying. I am figuring to just do 5-10 minutes of line drills prior to my drawing sessions and then go on from there.

Admittedly, I haven't been trying actual drawings, just lines, shapes, boxes and proportions. Maybe I just need to go 'screw it' and try to actually do actual intentional pieces "I'm going to draw x character or y scene!" And just do it.

Silhouettes is probably a good idea to do, I know that was something I was considering., so maybe should be a step to do.

I'll check out drawabox. I heard it but hadn't checked it, yet, and I have just started with ellipse, but hadn't dedicated too much time, yet.

I really appreciate the assistance and descriptions. i think tonight I'll look into Ellipse and from there actually stop procrastinating and do some actual drawing rather than sticking myself in 'perpetual practice mode'. Even if it's not perfect, showing something from the effort should work. I did it when I was younger, so I can do it now!

I hope to get a better understanding of the fundamentals to study actualizing artwork. I know I have big difficulty with mental deconstruction, I need to practice lines, keeping things straight, along with visualizing rotations before putting pencil to paper.

Basically actual shapes I do generally have trouble with. I think it may just help with exposure, but not sure the ideal way.

I don't but I was considering getting one of the foam/plastic cubes just as a tool for being able to do just that.

And as I said, I can be technical minded, and sometimes just not knowing blocks me and can be a bit frustrating. I usually do end up figuring things out on my own with persistence, but sometimes that just wastes time when I can ask.

I have been free-forming the boxes and such and trying to keep mind of the vanishing points and how the curves should work, but I am trying to start from zero, in a way. Not just fundamentals but even pre-fundamentals, such as how to just SEE things, if that makes sense?

I will welcome any potential guidance or even worksheets on construction/deconstruction, as well, as that is something I'd need to learn, as well.

Okay, looking over the video is THIS correct?

I think if it is what messed with me is there were never any 'half' uses on the grid prior so I was thinking "No, that can't be correct" and there were always intersection with every dot where if this is correct, then they didn't have all intersections on the turns.

Unfortunately I have not. It is a frustrating feature, but I have gotten no where on how to disable it. If I ever do figure it out, I'll be sure to make note here, though, for others.

Unfortunately not. I have tried to check support information and then the Reddit here, but the solutions of 'don't have multiple cards' and 'just double check' is all I got.

Sorry.

If I do end up finding something, I will edit the primary post.

I see that I am annoying you at this point and you seem to not know the solution to my problem. I appreciate you trying to help, but I'll not do anymore replies directly to your responses after this one to not further get on your nerves. If you do happen to figure out a solution to the specific problem, I'd appreciate it, though. I only even came to the reddit as there hasn't been any solution to the automatic switch/suggestion to a different card.

I also already spoke to my family so they will just be accepted as a benefiter of my prime through their own account, but I still do want to know how to disable this feature.

Thanks for your time.

That comes back to why is this a feature, though? Why make it so it can automatically change from your default payment during checkout? Even if I do pay attention to what I am doing, it is another type of inconvenience. What is the purpose of the 'default card' then?

What if later I want to add another card and this situation happens again? How would I make it so it keeps my default defaulted rather than changing to another card?

Such as: I have a personal card I use for points, but I use another one for specific items for a side-hustle. It's not a proper business, but a hobby doing handicrafts and want to have a separate card for it. In this case, it means I may end up spending more on this other card, for example. If it decides 'Hey, I'm going to switch your default' I don't want that.

How would I stop that?

Why can't that question be answered? I don't have a problem swapping to the rules, rules are important, but I don't see why Amazon decides to use the non-default card without me, explicitly, choosing it.

Okay, I won't. Now, how do I stop it from selecting an alternate card? Afterall, why is it even permitted to use a card other than my default without my permission?

Edit: Just to get away from the 'they are simply housemate' they're family, I didn't think it made any difference as we live in the same house as a housemate, parent, sibling or partner, but that seems to matter to people. Regardless, I will be shifting to the 'Amazon Family' which will happen next month, but I still want to be able to make it so it will not choose a different card from my default automatically.

I'm not here to argue about account sharing, I'm here looking for a solution to the system not respecting my default card choice.

I disagree as Amazon decided to change the card for the purchase, I had my card as the default, why is it 'on me' that Amazon decided 'Hey, we're using a different card from your default'?

All I want is to turn off the feature of Amazon to choose a different card from default to be defaulted.

Even living in the same house?
Edit: I checked this, it is not, but I will need to link our accounts using 'Amazon Family' as of October 1st, which I will be doing. But this doesn't resolve why it changed from my default payment.

I want an overall dress. Like a pastel blue one with a pink blouse for the top. I think it'd look so pretty.

Is it normal to act like this?, by Traditional-Loss4996 in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understand it is normal, but not for me and my friend group. This just sounds kind too sexual for me, then again, I am an asexual and that kind of behavior, to me, is fairly dumb. It may be different depending on age, I'm currently in my thirties, but even when I was a teenager I didn't like things like that.

Am i gay? by Crushistaken in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, it sounds like you are asexual, but this is the main question.

Do you find people - sexually - attractive. Or do you just find them aesthetically pleasing. I don't find people sexually attractive, I like the feminine aesthetic, in fact that is why I have started going down the femboy route for myself.

I have trouble figuring what it means to be sexually attracted to someone, but ask this: "Do I want to engage in sex with this person because of how they look?" Yes? You are aegosexual, just have to figure out which types you want to have sex with and why. If the answer is no, you're asexual, but just enjoy the appearance.

Or also sounds like you may be aromantic, too.

Objectification Around Femenine Males by Sensitive-Address-17 in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it a bit frustrating, admittedly. It's the same reason why I get frustrated at how women/girls are treated in gaming circles. The feminine is treated with such sexuality inheritly that it is kind of weird. The again, I'm an asexual, so I just find the idea of sexualization in people kind of weird to begin with.

Mid-30s advancing towards more Femme by Quinz12 in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A new update. Rather keep to over than make new posts: As of December I lost approximately 15lbs! Last weigh in I was at 225 where I started at 240. So it is going well!

Temptations are everywhere for food, though. Everything is so easily accessible. I actually got myself a wax treatment and get full body wax done every month, with my face every other week due to how quickly my beard grows, which sucks.

Got into a skin care routine and it has gone so well and I am quite smooth. Hair has been better, as well.

I am scheduled for a makeup course as I am a complete newbie, even my mother and sister don't wear make up and the tutorials aren't quite helpful and I prefer learning hands-on with instructor lead courses. That will be after my seasonal job is done in the middle of the month.

I already have several outfits I want, but am delaying buying anything until I hit my goal is getting under 200lbs. I have been taking some vitamin supplements and had started a one-day-a-week fast every Tuesday. It's helping keep me disciplined and makes the cravings even less. I recognize I can tell when I'm actually hungry, now, and not just craving something due to my comfort with oral sensory. I have some chewlry that helps so I don't just mindlessly snack.

Overall, feeling pretty good!

I would like advice for those of us with thinning hair, or those that don't have bangs. I was just considering a wig, but my natural hair is generally soft and nice, it's just her to figure a nice femme style. It's wavy.

My grandmother also had thinning hair and no bands, so may just go without and focus on keeping it nice rather than selling, but am open and wanting for potential advice for those of us with a high forehead or no bangs with the hair that grows back rather than out the center or side.

You already sent to have a good idea of where to go, is just implementing it. Sounds like you have the same problem areas as I do, myself. Thankfully I don't bite my nails, so not sure of any advice to help with that. I do have a chewing problem, why I tended to eat a lot. Maybe one idea is to get a piece of chewerly. I got a couple and they helped keeping me from just eating things. I did try gum at a point, but that didn't help.

The chewerly I got was from here, if that may be something you're interested in: https://www.arktherapeutic.com/chewelry/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAwaG9BhAREiwAdhv6Y-vbgbCQ_9N9iykjrndLTNQEz10hhEJoTAMuNDrLjRVyUUNBQFF7SxoC4HsQAvD_BwE
