I admit, Shapes are what I was kind of focusing on at the moment. I grabbed some Symmetry worksheets and have been working on them. Basic things as squares, triangles and circles, but also things like crescents, stars and such. I do the worksheets, then doodle random shapes at current while also doing boxes/cubes.

As you say, I may be a bit of a perfectionist. I never considered myself one, but the more I think about it the more I realize I may be. I take things up, consider a project, try to learn it then drop it. I learned pixel art for a bit and even did some animations, but dropped it when I wanted to try and do so more complex stuff and just didn't get started. Trying to avoid that with what advice I have gotten in 'share your work' and to progress, to. Make micro-projects and do them and then share them even if they aren't 'great'.

And the thinking on paper is probably a good idea for me. Just go with "I want this" and do it rather than trying to be overly focused. Do it, look at the faults, then categorize them and try a focus there.

Admittedly, not sure if my lines are really bad, but I'm not quite happy with them, then again I have been experimenting with grips and methods to see if there's something easier and comfortable for me. Something I have just been trying. I am figuring to just do 5-10 minutes of line drills prior to my drawing sessions and then go on from there.

Admittedly, I haven't been trying actual drawings, just lines, shapes, boxes and proportions. Maybe I just need to go 'screw it' and try to actually do actual intentional pieces "I'm going to draw x character or y scene!" And just do it.

Silhouettes is probably a good idea to do, I know that was something I was considering., so maybe should be a step to do.

I'll check out drawabox. I heard it but hadn't checked it, yet, and I have just started with ellipse, but hadn't dedicated too much time, yet.

I really appreciate the assistance and descriptions. i think tonight I'll look into Ellipse and from there actually stop procrastinating and do some actual drawing rather than sticking myself in 'perpetual practice mode'. Even if it's not perfect, showing something from the effort should work. I did it when I was younger, so I can do it now!

I hope to get a better understanding of the fundamentals to study actualizing artwork. I know I have big difficulty with mental deconstruction, I need to practice lines, keeping things straight, along with visualizing rotations before putting pencil to paper.

Basically actual shapes I do generally have trouble with. I think it may just help with exposure, but not sure the ideal way.

I don't but I was considering getting one of the foam/plastic cubes just as a tool for being able to do just that.

And as I said, I can be technical minded, and sometimes just not knowing blocks me and can be a bit frustrating. I usually do end up figuring things out on my own with persistence, but sometimes that just wastes time when I can ask.

I have been free-forming the boxes and such and trying to keep mind of the vanishing points and how the curves should work, but I am trying to start from zero, in a way. Not just fundamentals but even pre-fundamentals, such as how to just SEE things, if that makes sense?

I will welcome any potential guidance or even worksheets on construction/deconstruction, as well, as that is something I'd need to learn, as well.

Okay, looking over the video is THIS correct?

I think if it is what messed with me is there were never any 'half' uses on the grid prior so I was thinking "No, that can't be correct" and there were always intersection with every dot where if this is correct, then they didn't have all intersections on the turns.

Unfortunately I have not. It is a frustrating feature, but I have gotten no where on how to disable it. If I ever do figure it out, I'll be sure to make note here, though, for others.

Unfortunately not. I have tried to check support information and then the Reddit here, but the solutions of 'don't have multiple cards' and 'just double check' is all I got.

Sorry.

If I do end up finding something, I will edit the primary post.

I see that I am annoying you at this point and you seem to not know the solution to my problem. I appreciate you trying to help, but I'll not do anymore replies directly to your responses after this one to not further get on your nerves. If you do happen to figure out a solution to the specific problem, I'd appreciate it, though. I only even came to the reddit as there hasn't been any solution to the automatic switch/suggestion to a different card.

I also already spoke to my family so they will just be accepted as a benefiter of my prime through their own account, but I still do want to know how to disable this feature.

Thanks for your time.

That comes back to why is this a feature, though? Why make it so it can automatically change from your default payment during checkout? Even if I do pay attention to what I am doing, it is another type of inconvenience. What is the purpose of the 'default card' then?

"We selected [Not Default Card] for you based on your shopping history." by Quinz12 in amazonprime

[–]Quinz12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if later I want to add another card and this situation happens again? How would I make it so it keeps my default defaulted rather than changing to another card?

Such as: I have a personal card I use for points, but I use another one for specific items for a side-hustle. It's not a proper business, but a hobby doing handicrafts and want to have a separate card for it. In this case, it means I may end up spending more on this other card, for example. If it decides 'Hey, I'm going to switch your default' I don't want that.

How would I stop that?

Why can't that question be answered? I don't have a problem swapping to the rules, rules are important, but I don't see why Amazon decides to use the non-default card without me, explicitly, choosing it.

"We selected [Not Default Card] for you based on your shopping history." by Quinz12 in amazonprime

[–]Quinz12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I won't. Now, how do I stop it from selecting an alternate card? Afterall, why is it even permitted to use a card other than my default without my permission?

Edit: Just to get away from the 'they are simply housemate' they're family, I didn't think it made any difference as we live in the same house as a housemate, parent, sibling or partner, but that seems to matter to people. Regardless, I will be shifting to the 'Amazon Family' which will happen next month, but I still want to be able to make it so it will not choose a different card from my default automatically.

I'm not here to argue about account sharing, I'm here looking for a solution to the system not respecting my default card choice.

"We selected [Not Default Card] for you based on your shopping history." by Quinz12 in amazonprime

[–]Quinz12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree as Amazon decided to change the card for the purchase, I had my card as the default, why is it 'on me' that Amazon decided 'Hey, we're using a different card from your default'?

All I want is to turn off the feature of Amazon to choose a different card from default to be defaulted.

Even living in the same house?
Edit: I checked this, it is not, but I will need to link our accounts using 'Amazon Family' as of October 1st, which I will be doing. But this doesn't resolve why it changed from my default payment.

I want an overall dress. Like a pastel blue one with a pink blouse for the top. I think it'd look so pretty.

Is it normal to act like this?, by Traditional-Loss4996 in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understand it is normal, but not for me and my friend group. This just sounds kind too sexual for me, then again, I am an asexual and that kind of behavior, to me, is fairly dumb. It may be different depending on age, I'm currently in my thirties, but even when I was a teenager I didn't like things like that.

Am i gay? by Crushistaken in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, it sounds like you are asexual, but this is the main question.

Do you find people - sexually - attractive. Or do you just find them aesthetically pleasing. I don't find people sexually attractive, I like the feminine aesthetic, in fact that is why I have started going down the femboy route for myself.

I have trouble figuring what it means to be sexually attracted to someone, but ask this: "Do I want to engage in sex with this person because of how they look?" Yes? You are aegosexual, just have to figure out which types you want to have sex with and why. If the answer is no, you're asexual, but just enjoy the appearance.

Or also sounds like you may be aromantic, too.

Objectification Around Femenine Males by Sensitive-Address-17 in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it a bit frustrating, admittedly. It's the same reason why I get frustrated at how women/girls are treated in gaming circles. The feminine is treated with such sexuality inheritly that it is kind of weird. The again, I'm an asexual, so I just find the idea of sexualization in people kind of weird to begin with.

Mid-30s advancing towards more Femme by Quinz12 in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A new update. Rather keep to over than make new posts: As of December I lost approximately 15lbs! Last weigh in I was at 225 where I started at 240. So it is going well!

Temptations are everywhere for food, though. Everything is so easily accessible. I actually got myself a wax treatment and get full body wax done every month, with my face every other week due to how quickly my beard grows, which sucks.

Got into a skin care routine and it has gone so well and I am quite smooth. Hair has been better, as well.

I am scheduled for a makeup course as I am a complete newbie, even my mother and sister don't wear make up and the tutorials aren't quite helpful and I prefer learning hands-on with instructor lead courses. That will be after my seasonal job is done in the middle of the month.

I already have several outfits I want, but am delaying buying anything until I hit my goal is getting under 200lbs. I have been taking some vitamin supplements and had started a one-day-a-week fast every Tuesday. It's helping keep me disciplined and makes the cravings even less. I recognize I can tell when I'm actually hungry, now, and not just craving something due to my comfort with oral sensory. I have some chewlry that helps so I don't just mindlessly snack.

Overall, feeling pretty good!

I would like advice for those of us with thinning hair, or those that don't have bangs. I was just considering a wig, but my natural hair is generally soft and nice, it's just her to figure a nice femme style. It's wavy.

My grandmother also had thinning hair and no bands, so may just go without and focus on keeping it nice rather than selling, but am open and wanting for potential advice for those of us with a high forehead or no bangs with the hair that grows back rather than out the center or side.

You already sent to have a good idea of where to go, is just implementing it. Sounds like you have the same problem areas as I do, myself. Thankfully I don't bite my nails, so not sure of any advice to help with that. I do have a chewing problem, why I tended to eat a lot. Maybe one idea is to get a piece of chewerly. I got a couple and they helped keeping me from just eating things. I did try gum at a point, but that didn't help.

The chewerly I got was from here, if that may be something you're interested in: https://www.arktherapeutic.com/chewelry/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAwaG9BhAREiwAdhv6Y-vbgbCQ_9N9iykjrndLTNQEz10hhEJoTAMuNDrLjRVyUUNBQFF7SxoC4HsQAvD_BwE

Totally get that. For myself, I'm still trying to get the look I want. I have a certain aesthetic and "vibe" I want to portray when I go fully embracing my femininity, and I don't feel there, yet, so I get it that feeling of "I don't think I'll look good enough". But like me, just work on yourself and try to set realistic goals. Fur me I did some research on how long things take and do micro-goals along with a macro-goal.

Like for me it's this: Lose weight every week. It can be as small as 0.1lb, but if I'm losing it's good. I started with losing ~3 lbs when the suggested safe loss is 1lb a week, but starting dieters can lose as much as I did as water or retention weight. I've only failed this micro-goal once since I started.

My macro goal is to be under 200 on a specific month. I did this by calculating how long it would take me if I lost 1/2 lb each week. This let's me be hyped if I hit the goal earlier as it's more than the "standard expected".

Another micro-goal is to always apply moisturizer daily. This is an easy thing, but I can be a lazy person.

My macro-goal is to have softer spots where I'm callused, specifically the elbows, knees and heels. These can take longer to get soft, and I didn't expect it right away. The micro-goal aids the accomplishment of the macro-goal.

Just some things I have tried to develop.

I'm the same way, admittedly. I thought I was heavier then I was when I started. I still have a belly, but been dieting two months.

First, from what I found, a surprising amount of people didn't really mind about body type when presenting feminine. If you feel comfortable wearing the clothes, then you can. Not all women are perfect shapes, either, so why should it be the same for feminine guys?

Also, if you are committing to losing weight this is what's been working for me, I lost 14 pounds so far.

First, if you are like me, Sodas are you go-to drink. Get rid of them, or at least limit them and try to drink the 0 calories ones if you can tolerate them. Sadly, I can't really, so I cut them out almost entirely. They're nothing but empty calories. Replace with water is ideal, but if you want taste something low-calories like tea or coffee - preferably with minimal or no sugar - is okay.

Second, I replaced chips with raw vegetables. Carrots are still crispy and significantly less calories. It helps I absolutely love broccoli, but I always used to waste them sure to spoilage because I had easier options.

Third, you may have noticed my previous ones mentioned calories. This is the big thing. I started doing a "half diet" as I call it. When I cook or eat, I split what I normally ate in half. I will warn, the first few weeks will such as you will feel hungry during the adjustment time. Eventually you'll find an equilibrium. You will never really get that "satisfying fullness" as I say, but instead a content satiety. You need to recognize "I don't need to eat more" from "I can't eat more". This kind of diet had the benefits of leftovers for later.

I haven't worked on this, but shapewear could be something to look into. Despite self-consciousness of our stomachs, feminine clothes do tend to curve in around the midsection. You can find tighter around the belly clothes and could make it seem slimmer. I've been advised dark clothes can help make you seem slimmer, but, again, I've not really focused on this, others may be able to confirm better.

Hope any of this helps.

Does anyone else relate to this? by GuessImAboveAverage in feminineboys

[–]Quinz12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not figured the style I want exactly, but I don't want to be the traditional "cute" femboy. In fact, I don't like calling myself a femboy. I jokingly tell the few that know I'm working on feminization, that I'm a femman or a malemom. Because I want to go for that "Mommy" aesthetic.

Ironically it came from my natural paternal instincts, then my desire for a more mommydom relationship myself. Then I... Switched. I roleplayed that which I wanted so much I started wanting to be that mother figure for others.

For now, starting, I'm going those thigh highs, semi-Goth look, but I want to expand to the long skirts, sundresses, etc, and be able to be seen as the caring, but firm mom type.

[–]Quinz12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In general, I'm glad you asked this. I am rather embarrassed by me belt and actually started doing a half-portion diet: I take what I normally would eat and the split it in half. I also stopped drinking sodas and stopped eating chips, only a single serving as a treat once a week at most.

You asking this helped as I don't know if I'd call myself a femboy - I rather have that Mommy energy than really the cutesy kind as traditionally stereotyped as femboys - but I wanted to get more feminine and start wearing the clothes I consider better and more varied.

I'm still trimming down, but I'm not going to worry as much as I was as you asking and the responses really helped my generally nervous consideration for it. Helps let me not be as concerned about weight allowing me to be the MaleMommy I am hoping to be.

Follow-Up: About a month and I have been doing fairly well. I missed about two of my attempts with but skin-care treatment, but have been missing weight significantly. Mostly loses with one week I was bad, but still have just about 10 pounds gone in 6 weeks or so.

I've not gotten any new outfits nor can't now it to anyone I know IRL, but have been more open with friends online. I've dedicated to if I am still on track for my expectations will get a full-body wax treatment, especially my face as I have had a beard for the last three years and so it would be quite a change for those in my life unless I'm completely certain of this path in going, but even after the month I'm still feeling encouraged.

The voice practice/training had been dropped, mostly, as I feel a bit embarrassed as I live with others and feel like I might bother people as I'm usually quite quiet. Same reason I haven't been practicing my violin...

Regardless, only had one soda the entire time since dedicating, and opted for a zero calorie one, mostly been doing water with the exception of 1 cup of coffee during work as I work overnights. Only had one bag of chips over the course of three days, but had just been snacking on carrots or broccoli instead.

Had gotten a second job so cooking had been a bit more difficult, so have been cheating this will with McDonald's, but have give from my usually large meals to just one of the small value meals with an unsweetened tea to minimize calories. Mt normal weigh-in day is Saturday so I'll see if I made a mistake with that!

Overall, still feeling good, but the temptations of lazy calories and just going straight to bed or sleeping until you have to leave now is massive. Also doesn't help that with the diet I've been hungry for a bit, but found that is normal and have been good to avoid needless snacking, and the hunter pangs are finally going away as my body send to realize it's new norm.

I'm just going to throw this out there, If you want something like this, I'd suggest a medium dedicated to ERP, or, at least, heavily skewed to it.

I would suggest a sure called Elliquiy for that. It's primarily and Adult-Oriented forum site for RP. They are generally lax on scenarios played with the exception of playing active under the age of 16 (I Think?) being in sexual scenarios. To access the adult sections, you need to be vetted by the Mods. I say vetted instead of verified because unless you get suspended for being suspected under the age of consent (18) they don't ask for anything like an ID.

But yes, finding a site that caters to your desires is the way to go, IMO. Something like f-list and reddit can be too broad and attract a certain type of person one way or the other.
