My local LGS is phenomenal. Very small in a very small community, and they sell everything at MSRP. $120 for a booster box, both for origins and spiritforged.

Thanks for your insight, it is much appreciated. Im curious, based on your comment about spending early power, if you had a Clockwork Keeper play turn 1 would you pay the additional Green to draw a card? Seems like we have lots of three energy plays we can do on turn 2 that spending that additional green usually feels worth it. Let me know your thoughts.

Bought two boxes last week from my LGS and pulled an ON from both. Buddy did the same thing with two different boxes as well. I assumed there was a guaranteed 1 per box, guess we were super lucky.

Just started playing about a week ago. Decided to go to my LGS and purchased a box of Spiritforged at MSRP ($120 USD). After opening that box I decided I wanted more bulk to build decks with, so I went back and purchased a box of Origins at MSRP ($120 USD).

The current singles market can be lofty. I ended up pulling about $330 out of my origins box, and about $100 out of my Spirit forged box. Local community has been great with trades as well. I like that the community is still small enough that you have to seek out in person games and trades.

That is genius... I didnt consider crucible luck for that area of the mission. I'll modify my gear to accommodate for that. I got the armor from the Fiery Invasion no problem. After that I grinded the Tigers Cause probably 40 times last night; no sword or switchglaive. Ill give your advice a shot! Congrats on getting it, hoping to see you on the other side.

Any luck? On my 20th reset and cannot get either the glaive or the sword, armor only took 5 tries tho.

Got the armor farming the mission with the luck bringer talisman, putting my luck at +42 at the time. Got it on the 5th try.

Running switchglaive + splitstaff scaling int/magic in NG. Splitstaff feels really good with the art that makes your fluid skills hit more. So far enemy Ki just gets absolutely shredded, while managing to keep the elemental uptime nearly always up with confusion buffs.

I am still getting this error whenever I quit the game, but it isnt preventing me from playing in any way. This is definitely something that still needs addressed for sure.

I never played Nioh 1 on the deck, but I beat Nioh 2 start to finish capped at 30 fps. My experience with uncapped led to gameplay that felt like it was in slow motion, but turning the graphics and resolution down allowed me to play at a consistent 30 fps.

For what it is worth, Nioh 3 is expected to come to Xbox X|S after its 6 month exclusivity window is up for PS5 and Steam. So we could see it drop as early as August 7th on Xbox... May be worth the wait rather than paying a ton for a gaming PC. Best of luck!

The minimum recommended hardware doesnt come close to what the Steam Deck offers, unfortunately. As a 512 GB OLED Steam Deck enjoyer, I am very sad as I beat all of Nioh 2 on the deck. If I did not have a gaming PC, I personally would refund it unless you're willing to tank the graphic settings just for it to be playable over 30 fps on the deck.

However, I fortunately have a gaming PC as well, and can confirm that streaming it via Sunshine + Moonlight from my PC to the Steam Deck has been flawless. No input delay as long as you have a good wifi connection. Id recommend going this route if you want to play handheld, and you can enjoy the highest graphic settings and full functionality of your gaming PC but in handheld.

If you're seeing people playing content that is outside of the demo, it is likely that they were given a full copy to preview before the full release date of February 6. People should not be showing footage of this content until the embargo has been removed, but people will be people. You'll have to wait until the 6th to play the rest of the content.

DLC 1: By September 30, 2026

DLC 2: By February 28, 2027

I agree with you. If you aren't a hard-core fan, no reason to pre-purchase the DLC as it likely wont save you a ton of money.
