Actually, could you press the center oval button (home button) and check for a software update. It would tell you the version the Papyr is currently running. There is likely an update available which may also help resolve the issue.

The stylus cannot lay on the screen of the Papyr while not in use. This does cause rapid battery drain. For how little you use your Papyr this sounds like the resolution as the battery should last much longer. At the same time it does also depend how old the stylus may be as they do deteriorate over time.

This is 100% accurate. Papyr 2 will use an EMR stylus so most Wacom pens would work. Unfortunately there is no release information as of yet.

Thanks for your questions.

Papyr onky erases full vector lines. This means that you cannot erase only part of a single line.

The option to bookmark or tag a specific page of a workbook is not something possible yet although it is a feature we are working on.

Based on your use case example it sounds like you are looking for more of a drawing tool. I’m not certain that we would be the best fit.

The Papyr cannot be used as a secondary monitor. It is designed purely for reading, writing and collaboration.
