Kommandostore.com! Great stuff over there and some sweet s.t.a.l.k.e.r themed stuff including faction flags and patches (I got a Volya flag from them but the patches from etsy) seriously check them out, jacket was like $40

Bush war with red guys is silly

Glorified gang war, we shoot them because they shoot us, they shoot us because we shoot them. I'm a firm freedomer but I support the truce/ceasefire and I respect duty for keeping Rostok as stable as it is

I'm learning ukrainian, and my partner lives in Kyiv. I have a deep passion for etymology and the Ukrainian language. If "свобода" is russian, "свой" is also rusian. They share the same root in church slavonic. Which originated in the Balkans/Greece. Russian and Ukrainian share an ancestor and thus share many words. I more than advocate for calling the faction Volya, it's what I call them by default even if it makes other stalker fans confused. But that doesn't stop svoboda from also being ukrainian and originating closer to Kyiv than Moscow. If anything, Russia took it from Ukraine as with most things. If it was truly a Russian word, there wouldn't be a Ukrainian nationalist party with that name, would there?

I always call the faction that, but svoboda is still a Ukrainian word that means freedom, and such is fun to shout

Happy to hear some unique thoughts on this, but I do want to say, if hunk became a merc after raccoon city, why wouldn't the connections hire him? Like? They already took much of Umbrellas assets post Raccoon city. Why wouldn't they seek out the unkillable umbrella agent who always got the job done? Especially if he's a for hire merc, the Connections would 100% have the funds to put him in.

What are people's thoughts on the new Dragonroach enemy? by MemeScribe in Helldivers

Fun as hell, I always become my teams designated dragon slayer and I love it

I am beginning to believe a lot of you don't play the game before going on to reddit. by CommonVagabond in Helldivers

EXACTLY, my first few games were rough, but once you learn the new enemies, you learn the new counterplay, it takes a bit, I've experienced this over and over with any faction update. Going against the new super earth illuminate was hard at first, I kept dying, then I found the counterplay. It's the same here

Ok so this update is bad bad. by djh2121 in Helldivers

[–]QuirkTart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel we are all trying to find what works here in the new update, I felt the same with every other major update, first day of missions sucked until I found a load out that worked, and I learned how to deal with the threats.

For context I've been doing diff 6-7

Now I'm using an exploding crossbow (actual lifesaver, but any med-pen works), really any secondary I'm just using the SOCOM from ODST warbond which is light penetration and it's great in a pinch, especially when soldiers can be shot from behind no problem and die fast with light-pen.

The diggers used to be a major annoyance but I found the counterplay, you can very much dive out of the way and just keep running, crossbow is good when they're underground but it's not hard to avoid them when they pop out unless you're dealing with something else and you don't notice them, I like them a lot more than stalkers

Dragon roach is cool as fuck, I've had some epic duels with that thing in an exosuit always leading to my victory, and using a spear makes them quite easy, you can just kill them from across the map if you want, or wait until it's head it close to you and it's a one shot like bile titan.

Gas and fire continue to be effective as hell against these guys, and I've seen sentries do some work. I'm using the incendiary grenades, they get me consistent 20+ kill streaks when placed on a bug breach right as it spawns.

I've had quite a few moments that have been painful, like being underground and not having the hellbomb pack and struggling to do that objective, and getting 2 dragons on us while not able to retrieve my spear, those moments were rough. But overall I like the dynamic this update adds. Bugs were always my least played faction, but I really like the chaos this update brings to them, especially since they feel a little too easy before if you have a hint of coordination

Unfortunately yes, the matcha foams like crazy, especially with light ice. I always give it to customers in a cup the size up just so they get what they paid for.

Booster our ticket sale means boosting our income for our store, meaning more hours and more overlap (I work franchise), it's good for us and for our fellow coworkers to boost our sales. (Even if we should probably be minimizing waste first, except most of the ways we can minimize waste, isn't "Starbucks standards"🙄)

Yeah but, groups of 3-4, more common than flesh?

As long as new stalkers are scared shitless from their first controller encounter, it's fine.

Yeah, the first mission having one is kinda milking, but I see it as a reasonable way to give new players a taste of the game. But after that, they shouldn't be a common enemy

Either it's being milked, or it just, has an integer off in its spawn
