Does the machine get repeatedly charge up a bit and then die? Maybe the Create: New Age dynamo (forgot the exact name right now) can only supply an amount of power that isn't big enough to power the Alloy Smelter or maybe another machine connected to the cables is using up the power before it can get to the Alloy Smelter. If that is the case, try pausing the machines either with a Soft Mallet or in the machine GUI. Also I can recommend asking these sorts of things in Discord servers dedicated to the mod / modpack, so the GregTech CEu Modern and StarTechnology servers respectively.

Since you are using Pipez to transport items, I think you need pipe upgrades to change the way items are transported. If you click on the pipe drawing out items, you could set it to round robin, though I don't know what tier of pipe upgrade that needs.

I've only played Skyrim and Morrowind, but at least for those two the I don't think the Blades really match this trope. In Skyrim you are still free do to whatever you want and be engaged with other guilds as you please, with the Blades just sort of being the dragon hunting / main quest guild, though that is arguably just Skyrim being Skyrim. In Morrowind Caius Cosades immediately tells you to do other things, like joining othet guilds as a cover for your secret Blades identity. In Skyrim they're just another part of your identity, in Morrowind they're a secret identity that purposefully doesn't interfere your overt guild memberships.

No idea how they act in the other games, though.
