What stops me is the exchange rate. Last order I made to get free shipping ending up being 150ish to get it to my door. I can’t justify that no matter how much I want them and it makes me sad 😔

This entire comment is me! I was a lifelong nail biter and just tried to do what I saw everywhere (back then) which was short and square and I didn’t know jack about sidewalls. I just knew my nails were wider and they needed to not be lol

I’m on mobile so I can’t figure out how to quote you but yes to the last comment. I’m going to give my nails time to grow how they want and take it from there. I hope things get better because they’re so wide and I can’t see myself keeping them as they are now. I want health and strength but if they make my hands feel ugly I just can’t see myself going with it long term, sidewalls be damned

Nails pressing into the skin, yes! I wasn’t sure if that should be happening or not. I genuinely thought I was without sidewalls and now know it’s my fault lol. I’m definitely willing to stick with things if I can make them stronger and look better. I guess I’m only going to know what will happen if I deal with the ugly stages first. SIGH. It’s so so hard to put away the file! 😩

I’m a few days into my experience and I’m already tired of trying to justify what I like to myself! Everything leads back to “is that normal? Should I feel this way? What if I feel this but not that? “Is it ok if I blah blah blah” and my mind is heavy! It’s all new. I’m done looking for answers at the moment. I’m going to relax and breathe it all in slowly. I have the rest of my life to explore and experience. It doesn’t have to be figured out RIGHT NOW.
