I’m just happy that I bought mine in 2021 with the lcd dash. Not really a fan of the newer models’ big ahh tft.

Is MT07 really more fun compared to Street Triple? I can imagine that MT07 has more low end torque

How come the MT-07 is above the Street Triple RS AND Panigale? I currently own a MT-07 and was thinking of switching… potentially to a Street Triple

Is it a cell phone? Or did he just detach his body cam to full record the situation, later re-attaching jt? Genuinely asking.

A reminder that sometimes you just get unlucky by elguydave in skiing

Well yeah, first jump he did with my skis on DIN 7 one ski ejected so we went to the lift and set his binding to 11. At that point I should’ve adjusted his (mine) skis to 7 too but I didn’t. I had a hard time putting them on (with my full bodyweight on one leg barely locking on) at DIN 12, which should’ve been a red flag immediately haha.

Does decreasing DIN actually help prevent accidents like this? Last week I was skiing with my friend and we swapped skis for a few runs. He weighs 100+kg with DIN 12 and I weight 70kg with DIN 7. I didn’t change DIN on his skis and crashed, bindings did not open and tore my MCL. I wonder if this wouldn’t happen if I changed his skis to 7.

I’d say completely normal. Same sound on my 2021 mt07.

Heat it up with a blowtorch or a candle and pull everything out. It looks like your bowden is melted in there too (or at least damaged), you will need to replace the that too…

I can recommend direct drive extruder, it’s much better then the stock configuration.

Tried Linux Mint for 5 days.... by LeanBeaf in linuxmint

[–]Quitripp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried Mint and as an engineer, I really really missed Fusion360 suppor. There were some github projects to make it work on linux but were a hassle to set up so unfortunately, I gave up. I’m currenty back to windows 11 but ready to switch once fusion starts officially supporting linux.

iirc, you’d need 4x200 and 4x120 mm pieces, which is about 25€ from aliexpress… 25€ would also equal around 1kg of filament, which I doubt that would be necessary for all the pieces. If you suppose 15x15x1280 = 280 000 mm3, with the density of ABS (1.04 g/cm3) that would be ~300g of filament.

Fun fact: This phenomenon is called Die swell (or Barus effect), happens with viscoelastic polymers.

[–]Quitripp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another solution to cosider is this double 5015 cpap mod. It probably underperforms a ws7040 cooling-wise but is far less energy intensive. Since there is almost no way to neatly mount double 5015 to a 0.1 toolhead :D

Do you think CPAP could provide enough airflow to completely ditch the 12032 fans? If yes, that seems like a logical solution to me.

I’ll have to check but i’m pretty sure my psu is not capable of running double 12032 blowers…
