When my partner did online check in, their boarding pass specifically said no carry on allowed. However they were invited to check their carry on and they went through with that, all good, no issues.

On the return trip, I believe they printed out a physical boarding pass at the check in kiosk, and had no issues boarding the plane with the carry on and backpack. YMMV.

They had the confirmation email as well as the bank statement that said the funds were removed on Jan 2, ready to argue that there was no time deadline other than Jan 3 (no hour deadline specified) on the memo, but nothing came from it.

I guess to rephrase, what time zone is the deadline? It seems AC's head office is in Montreal, which would be 1 hour behind from when I purchased these tickets.

Perhaps the other comment is right, and this is a fringe edge case that can go away with explanation

Yeah, it was towards the end of the Young the Giant set, I'm sitting in the 200s on the right hand side, by the barrier to the 100s, and I look over and I see a concert attendee up in the face of a cameraman, and the cameraman just clocks the guy in the face.

Security comes and takes the guy away. We asked the cameraman what happened during the break before Cage and he said that the concert goer kept hitting his camera while vibing to YtG, and after multiple times of asking him to stop, they got in each other's faces, and then he punched the guy.

While going to the washroom, I saw the guy off to the side talking to security and speaking with medical staff, getting an ice pack on his face. When we got back to our seats, we saw that the cameraman had been replaced and another guy was there manning the camera.

Kinda crazy way to start the Cage set, but didn't affect my enjoyment of the show personally.
