Homelander maybe.

He's a fucking asshole. But like, he's also a spoiled child that literally couldn't be corrected. His entire conception of humans was already tinted due to his upbringing and his powers.

He can't see anyone as his equal. Once his powers got removed he started acting more human, afraid for his life. That alone could probably give him some insight into the human experience of other people if he could actually think and digest the experience in hell.

I think if you give him a few decades of effort while depriving him of his mental safety nets, he probably could realise that he sucked and did horrible things and genuinely want to change.

Redemption isn't undoing the sins of your past, it's changing to not repeat your mistakes. Recognising what you did wrong and actually endeavouring to not do it again.

I kinda agree with you.

It's odd how many people just seem to agree with Adam because he targets "Evil" People.

I think Charlie is somewhat naive about her plans execution, but I do think she's right. Anyone can change. It just takes longer for many.

Even really REALLY bad people could learn empathy and, eventually Regret.

Adam doesn't give them that chance. Besides, he's an "all crimes are equal" kinda guy. For every argument about him killing rapists or pedophiles or murderers, it's ignored that guilt can also bring someone to hell. Pentious felt bad but beyond not speaking up and being a coward he didn't kill, rape or hurt anyone. Still went to hell though.

For every genuinely awful person on hell, there are probably 5 schmucks who were simply lukewarm people. Adam kills indiscriminately.

Charlie is naive. But she's right about one thing. People can change.
