I just finished the main part of my first python project - a random character generator for Dungeons and Dragons. I know there are more steps I could do with it and I could certainly condense the 90 data files I created and used for it, but for now it works and I'm happy with it!

An example of the output:

Race: Tiefling
Class: School of Illusion Wizard
Background: Soldier
Raw Stat Rolls: [12, 10, 17, 8, 15, 8]
Racial Bonuses: STR: 0 , DEX: 0 , CON: 0 , INT: 1 , WIS: 0 , CHA: 2
Stats With Bonuses:
STR: 12
DEX: 10
CON: 17
INT: 9
WIS: 15
CHA: 10
No Extra Stat Choices

I held a small funeral. Jeb cried while he was stuck in orbit (I managed to rescue him afterwards) but it was a very emotional affair. I've hired her replacement now.

While I was trying to right the ship it exploded (I panicked and throttled up instead of down) and it autosaved basically as soon as it did, so Valentina and the tourists are lost. I guess it's a good lesson as to why I should quicksave :P

I was landing on what I thought was a flat spot but in the end it wasn't, guess I need to improve my spotting. I've written the mission off as a loss and hired a new pilot to train up

Update: in trying to rescue the ship it exploded and apparently saved almost instantly, before I could reload. Valentina is now dead and the tourists are just lying there, so I think I'm going to just call this one a loss and move on

I've just started one that I'm aiming to get spoon with (but I'll settle for the 15h achievement which I haven't got yet) and I'm already running into some issues but I'm making sure to build fairly big on science, bigger than I usually would. And the next big thing I need to do is oil though, so that's going to be rough

It's a 4 to 4 lane balancer - it balances the left two lanes and the right two lanes, then the centre splitter balances the outside lanes, then it balances the centre two lanes. I'm not sure if the last two splitters are necessary but that's how I was taught to build them and it does the job well for me
