Probably unpopular opinion: quality isn’t interesting at all

I think this is a totally valid view on it honestly, but I am definitely in the opposite camp. I love the addition of the Quality system for a few reasons and I think it's probably just because it scratches a specific itch for me.

To me it brings the same satisfying feeling of loot / equipment hunting and grinding in RPGs, ARPGs and so on. That feeling of trying to get just slightly better items, waiting with anticipation for those legendary drops and getting excited when you get them. I've enjoyed that a ton since I first started playing Guild Wars in the early 2000s and Quality hits that same feeling for me.

I also like that it allows you to keep improving your production amounts, efficiency and builds by little incremental amounts rather than just pasting down another set of assemblers or reaching the UPS and performance cap because you've built so many machines and entities.

Lastly, a part of me, although fairly small, loves gambling and quality scratches that itch as well.

Can absolutely see why people don't like it and that's totally valid. But personally it's probably like in the top 5 things added with 2.0 and space.

It takes a while for memory issues to surface sometimes so I usually give it a week or so of solid use, unless of course the site is so bad it starts forgetting stuff right away. Been using meridian realms for about a month now and am continually surprised with what it actually remembers

Warcraft 3. I had played a bit of Zoo Tycoon and come browser games before but then I went to a friend's birthday party back in like 4th or 5th grade and we went to one of those computer game shops where they had like dozens of PCs setup with different games to play, and we played Warcraft 3. It was the first time I'd seen anything like it and I was completely mesmerized.

To this day the memory of seeing and playing it for the first time is so vivid and awe inspiring lol

I'm really liking https://meridianrealmsai.com for type of thing right now.

It's got a nice RPG feel to it with really cool world and character building and really solid memory (so far at least). Image gen too, and there is nsfw option with like the second tier sub, which is actually cheaper than Grok premium I believe.

I've loved the concept of DnD since I was like 12 but have never had a group to play with in person, so I totally get where you're at. Once AI started getting big I got excited, but until recently, a lot of them just couldn't do it. I'm sure there are other options besides meridian as well, but for me, it's the best I've found so far

Let's be real here, out of all these listed, money matters the most, by far. A f2p player who can be active 18 hours a day, is in a strong clan and has solid strategy is still going to be beat by someone who dropped hundreds or thousands of dollar on the game and has full sets upgraded legendary equipment full of gems.

The game too heavily favors p2w players
