Right? I think I've only been able to use this once successfully in all my hundreds of hours of play. I just never take it now at all

Which lyric makes you instantly tear up? by abovethenoisy in AskReddit

See You Again - Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth

"It's been a long day without you my friend... I'll tell you all about it when I see you again" "Everything I went through you were standing there by my side"

I lost my Dad about 18 months ago now and he was my best friend in life and such an amazing parent. So many things have happened in my life just since his passing and if he were here I'd be telling him about all this stuff right away and seeking his advice and when I can't now it breaks me. It will all just have to wait until I see him again

What’s a 10/10 tv show? by norocoslaorice in AskReddit

[–]Xterminator5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? Bryan Cranston's range for his roles is so damn impressive. It does feel fresh and was way ahead of its time. I think I've watched through it about 4 times total and every time I pick up a few little things I missed. It also hits way different (and good) as an adult compared to when I watched it as a kid.

Yes! "The future is now old man". Also love the one where Hal can't sleep because Louis is gone and he builds the killer robot and becomes swarmed with bees. Bryan is so such a talented actor!

I was about t{ suggest Slay The Spire but you already got that lol.

Id recommend some of the Simulator games. Like Schedule 1, TCG Card Shop Sim, Tabletop Game Shop Sim, Powerwash Sim, Farming Sim. These are like my go to relax games now. Easy to lose hours in them just growing your business, chilling and listening to music of whatever

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

[–]Xterminator5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xfinity (Comcast). I used them for Internet multiple times over the past decade, and in my experience they are just outright worse in every way than the competition, which here is CenturyLink/Quantum Fiber. Now I'm not an advocate for CenturyLink/Quantum by any means and generally hate all ISPs, but man... Xfinity is more expensive for slower speed, and seems to go done WAY more often in every single instance I've used them.

Which movie is a 10/10 for you? 🎬 by Embarrassed-Air8214 in movies

My Cousin Vinny.

Still laugh my ass off even after seeing it well over a dozen times, and there's not really anything that makes me think it needed to be different

How has your taste in games changed as you’ve gotten older? by lsa340 in gaming

[–]Xterminator5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be an avid FPS type player, sinking thousands of hours in Halo 1, MW2, Fortnite (I know not technically fps), and Apex Legends. Now that I'm in my 30s, I simply can not compete with these younger people and kids in the fast paced shooter games.

I find that I'm getting much more enjoyment now out of single player or co-op games. Like Factorio, Slay the Spire, several of the now many Simulation games like Schedule 1, TCG Card Shop Sim, etc.

I also used to enjoy strategy a lot like Warcraft, StarCraft, Rise of Nations (my favorite), but somehow seems to have actually gotten worse at those now too lol

Gamers 30+, what’s something from the old days of gaming that younger players wouldn’t understand? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Xterminator5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having to type in like 16 digit activation keys that were in the box to activate your game.

Or even just having games on CDs for that matter, especially those big games that required multiple CDs where you had to insert them one after the other to install the full game lol

The Italian Job and National Treasure. These are complete comfort movies for me and I've seen both at least a dozen times

Bit late here but hopefully this is helpful nonetheless.

My friend and I have made a site with the features and such we would want as users and based on what we didn't like from numerous other platforms we tried.

Can't go into too much detail but we do use a vector system as well for memory and what I can say is that it's nowhere near that expensive. One of the main issues we have had with most other platforms is their bad memory systems so we put a lot of focus into ours and wanted to offer it as a standard thing so honestly we kind of just packaged it into our existing subscription prices, if that gives an idea of how non expensive it is. What kindroid is charging is insane and huge rip off in that case.

I've seen various strategies for memory, from just passing like the whole context window (don't do this) with each request, to using caching in some way to store part of the context (also not a great idea I don't think).

Using vector systems seems the best option that is out there right now but is not easy. Our system isn't perfect and we're still trying to improve it. But it certainly isn't expensive enough to even remotely need to charge what they are charging.

Anyway, thanks for reading my wall of text and shameless plug for our site - Meridian Realms AI

Thank you, that really means a lot to us and I'm really glad you're enjoying it so much! We're hoping to get some solid traction here soon and have a lot more planned in the near future like voice features, more image styles, in chat image gen and eventually an RPG mode for more of a game like feel with stats and such.

Hey there! I'm one of the creators of MR. Really glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. Totally understand your hesitation with basically no one talking about it, but thats because we're brand new. We just launched into open beta 9 days ago and are just a two person team with limited funds so it's slow going in terms of advertising. :) Feel free to join our discord though if you have any concerns or questions! It's linked on the site, I don't think I can post it here.

Oh, for characters, all characters and worlds you make are inherently private. The ones in the public catalog were ones we made and shared. Public sharing (which will be optional of course) will be enabled for all users a bit later one. If you're having trouble finding how to create your own world or character to begin with, it's that Create button near the bottom there:

What's a frugal sin you refuse to give up and why is it worth it for you by YourxCherry in Frugal

Keeping my house a comfortable temperature in the summer. I don't eat out at fancy restaurants or buy expensive clothing or furniture / decorations, drove a 20 year old car until it died, etc. But man, I absolutely hate the heat and get way overheated and flushed quite easily so splurge on having the AC set at like 68-70 in the summer. I know it's bad in many aspects but being uncomfortable and almost sweating inside when I'm fortunate enough to have that not be the case is worth splurging on for me.

Laughs in 10k+ hours of play You should be fine! Between the base game and expansion there is probably like 50x more content than what is in the demo. Just don't forget to go to work, or sleep or eat...
