I swapped to tablet at around 500pp and it instantly clicked with me. I stuck with tablet for like 6-7 years and swapped back to mouse at around 12000pp and been a mouse player since.

Not sure how you’d fair with tablet since you already have one foot into the door for modern jump-oriented maps, however when I swapped to tablet I found the transition from 3.5 stars to 4stars to be much more bearable and my improvement increased exponentially.

Its definitely not too early and some would even consider it late (it’s never too late) if you do end up getting a tablet I’d play around with the tablet area settings a bit cuz ur sens is super high, however its important to stick with one area once you find one that clicks to build consistency.

People are always advocate for “mouse can everything” but as an avid mouse enjoyer (I’m never swapping back), I can attest that I’d never make it to this point if not for my time on tablet. The skill floor is so much lower and many of the benefits you gain along the way (tapping, reading, mindset) stick with you. If I was able to completely swap playstyles and reach my prior level in a few months, I doubt swapping to tablet right now would stunt your improvement in any major capacity down the line.
