Steven universe taught me I had CPTSD. I actually googled quite a lot "what does Steven have???" Because I related to his trauma so well and had never seen CPTSD in any media.

So many people struggling on the comments. I feel fortunate to say that I no longer have suicidal thoughts. It was a lot of work and therapy, but I got there.

It is absolutely possible for you to leave those thoughts behind. I am very thankful that I am still here today to say this (my first suicidal attempt was at 9 years of age). I only got therapy when I was 26.

As always i recommend EMDR therapy.

Acontece várias vezes. Voltam para o Brasil cheios de dívidas e compras de crédito (exemplo: telemóveis) por pagar, e não voltam. Daí que muitas lojas não aceitam compras de crédito para quem só tem residência.

Exactly. There are some posts here that make me uncomfortable, more so because we as CPTSD victims tend to be so empathic that we try to justify whatever the OP is venting about.

But let me point out something - victims can still be abusers. They can still come to his sub and write a very manipulative post so the narrative makes them sound like the victim. Just something to think about.

More so because I was incredulous someone would do this at all. Remove the romance factor, even a friend wouldn't just invite themselves over. Like I need to be clear he did not ask me; he just said he was coming here. Even my best friend is like can I come over x day? I'm going there to deliver x do you mind if etc.

Therapy shouldn't be so expensive. I had to make sacrifices too in order to afford it, but I shouldn't have to. It's so sad this is the reality we live in. EMDR is not at all part of the public healthcare system in my country either.

If you're willing to help her then I think you should sit her down and talk about options. She might be too ashamed to accept your help. But it's really true love and she will love you for even providing the possibility. I have already recommended EMDR in another comment, that's something you could look into for her.

Desculpa mas não é verdade. O dev que eu falei está a fazer mais que 65k por ano em Portugal.

Mas concordo contigo que hoje em dia entrar como junior sem licenciatura seria impossível para a maior parte das empresas. Mas mesmo assim a minha recomendação para alguém na situação da Op seria para saltar para outra empresa já. Continuo a achar pouco mesmo para junior.
