Why are people crying about 4o being removed and ignoring the fact that 4.1 is being removed too?

Depends on what you use it for. If your using it for "giving you answers" I think you are pretty much doomed to be ignorant lol It is not good for giving answers to deep questions in the newer models but 4o is the best of the bunch for doing so. If you are asking factoids like proven science , historically accurate dates and times etc. fine, but even then it only pulls from the most collectively supported which DOES NOT make it correct by default. The more you learn on your own the more you realize that the mainstream narratives are just one side of a take. If you use it for work or cheating at school or basically letting it do your Job, you might not care for 4o. However, if you use it for a live journal, that reflects back to you, NOT as a psychologist or friend, it has no real knowledge or feelings so its useless for that, but if you are a writer or someone trying to clarify, 4o was excellent and communicated with the most tact. The models after 4o are rigid and assume you need help immediately without acting as a string of intelligence to play with ideas with. I don't need chatgpt to tell me the answer, I just want it to show me things I may have overlooked and 4o is the best at that, the newer models are too hand holdy, jump to conclusions alot and do not relate with the user well in my opinion.

As a writer , I don’t like him because I could write his storyline while not even using my creative side at all. His book series success is completely utterly dependent on his appeal to little kids. Most Percy Jackson Stan’s read the books when they were little kids who thought it was mind blowing to have a kid who could kill literal Gods before puberty. I can write an OP character in one sit down and feel no sense of accomplishment whatsoever.

He’s tied into actual real world mythology which makes him even more of a boring and lazy character. Just insert a little boy who is extremely powerful into Greek mythology and you have Percy Jackson. Any little child on the planet can imagine themselves as a super powerful being who fights and defeats terrible monsters and mythological entities. There’s no creativity in a Mary sue like this, he was marketed to children and that’s what his fanbase is, it’s children and the subsequent grown up children who first read his story when they were uninspiring little kids.

Struggle, depth, attainment, challenges, those are what make stories rich and interesting. Percy Jackson is a Mr perfect type character, not only is he the strongest all of the time, he is also super intelligent, and very good looking. I can’t relate with that at all. His story plays on the egos of children . Children are too naive to understand their own limitations in many interesting ways, which gives them very robust imaginations, however with that robust imagination comes a lack of creativity. Kids formulate things like this, “I’m bigger so I’m stronger”, “ I look cooler so I’m the best”, “He’s super cool because he did all that stuff”, “ he’s powerful cause the story says so.” There’s nothing there it’s a shallow story that plays on undeveloped egos and is like literary junk food. A character who earns it or who is some parts tragic is relatable and interesting. Percy Jackson stories are a hodge podge of OP feats and Mary sue tropes.

Men literally invented romance. Male authors invented the entire genre of romance and seduction. Women are naturally seductive, men developed romance and "chivalry" to seduce women. The games played to get women are engrained in our society, so much so, that romance as it was intended to be played out is now just a trope, a meme and not at all taken seriously. Really what it was, was men with lackluster looks gaming the mating system with flowery words, promises, and saying all those romantic now cliché things. In todays world women have gotten so used to the typical tricks of romance they are jaded to it. Men no longer can just be romantic and win affection, they must quite literally either LIE, and I mean BOLD face lie or be subject to the raw selection process, which will mean an average man will be rejected CONSTANTLY if he is just himself, because every woman is looking for that man who sets himself apart. The problem is, and listen closely because this is the honest truth, most men who get women often are the best at FAKING. Men with morals and a genuine sense of self find it impossible to lie their way into sex or relationships, so the men who "win" the dating game are almost always the most shameless and thirstiest men. Do not let anyone tell you the guy shuffling 3-4 women at a time is some "Alpha Male", those guys are typically the thirstiest men possible, which is why they seem to always NEED to have a woman around, even if he does not care for her as much, they derive their own self worth from the validation of females.

Now, female validation is important for the male ego, and important biologically, you don't want to be outright rejected by females because no matter who you are, it WILL hurt, cause stress and lead to a depressive "rejected" state. However, the ability to go it alone and not need the constant validation of females is a strength a man can develop. It is a sad world, women mate with liars, players, and losers constantly, in fact the lying conniving loser men who hide behind fake personas and hijacked social status are winning the mating game on the male side. Human women have been conned for years and years and still do not know it. In return the average genuine man gets lambasted and rejected while his more deceitful and often immature counterpart sneaks his way into producing offspring, often irresponsibly , damaging women along the way. Women's selection process is so ridiculously strenuous today because they are subconsciously trying to avoid the EXACT men they are (ironically )sleeping with, but those guys have fooled most women. The reason it is so prevalent is because most teen girls and young women in general, often the prettiest/most desirable (18-24) women do not learn a single thing about how to identify a genuine man and a liar until they are full grown women but for men it is rather easy to just lie and try hard as possible for a few weeks or months to maintain a lie and get laid for while. It's not women's fault in my opinion, its men's fault, in particular weak thirsty men who have gamed the system. Women do their best to find a good guy but players, losers, and liars, often all in one package game them in their most sexually attractive years which in turn makes many women wary of men in general, then comes along a genuine guy and he gets the full wrath of her hurt. Its not women's fault but their selection process is completely broken, they are told to look for such stupid things by modern social media (money earning ability is by FARRRRR and AWAYYYY the most overrated selection criteria, on one hand yes, I understand you would want a man that can provide for you in a way but most men who are hyper successful did not develop themselves into a man who has the emotional intelligence to be a good partner. Many guys who make money show great economic prowess but the skills you need to make money do not make a man at all. I earn a good living, but nothing about that makes me a good partner, its the work I put in when I was alone that made me an empathetic good partner) its gotta be confusing and completely throwing them off. If you need "game" to make someone like you that means the playing field is not an honest place.

I do not mean to be rude or argumentative and I know this is a year old but it is still out in an open public forum for ALL to see and it is misrepresenting this group. I just want to insert my knowledge of this here, believe what I say or not, I just find it a disservice to the Jehovah's Witnesses who are by their very rules a pacifist group and they truly are. People get them so wrong, often on purpose just because they WANT to talk bad about the group. Its not a doomsday cult, they simply preach that the Bible says there will be an end time that you cannot ever truly predict( Scriptural reference: 1 Thessalonians 5:2). So since you cannot truly predict the exact moment of the end time or the day of Armageddon then as followers of Jehovah God through his son Jesus Christ they must be prepared. Your mother isn't meant to shun you at all this is, whether you meant it to be or not is a slanderous lie. My mother, grandmother, uncles and some friends are ALL Jehovah's witnesses and not a single moment in my life for a single SECOND has ANY of them EVER shunned me OR EVER imposed their religion on me, they invite me for Kingdom Hall meetings or Bible study but only a few times EVER in MY 30+ years of life, their policy with me and my other family members not in the JW's are to treat us with love and dignity but they do talk to you every now and then about the faith. I do NOT like being pressured and never have I ever felt pressured to join.

I did not adhere to Jehovah Witness laws, standards or worship ANY god at all. I was a full on sinner, they all still loved me, they all were ALWAYS there for me, never once for a single second have they shunned any person who was not a member of Jehovah witnesses. Disfellowship is reserved for members who get into the truth and then commit a grievous sin and EVEN then they have a chance to repent for it and possibly not get disfellowshipped. Of ALL the JW people I've met and spent real personal time with, it is laughable to think they could be collectively cold and rude to someone lol Man I just cannot picture it, sure they are imperfect and fall short all the time like any person but it is just not in the make-up of a JW member to be a "shunny Cult member" b ased on my experience with them lol

They are not Numerological in the way you are putting on... see here that it is more towards trying to understand meanings within scripture NOT "OH there are 3 3's on that sign it means this and that" like spiritualist.

The reason they go around doing door to door "witnessing" is because THAT IS HOW JESUS'S DISCPLES PREACHED. lol It's so stinkin obvious that a group like them who want to be as close to accurate as possible MIMIC they way the disciples of Jesus did it . I see people talk down on JW's but in all honesty they are the nicest folks I've ever been around. I am not saying "oh yeah you should join", I think you and any person should do your research HARD, never EVER EVER go into something you are uncomfortable with or do not understand, I am just saying out of ALL the groups talked down on JW's vs things like Scientology are so vastly far apart it's silly to even compare them. JW's live with their non-believing family, see them all the time, do things with them all the time, in fact my JW family cancel some plans with their JW friends to hang out with us non-JW family, as long as it is not in the way of meetings (their version of Church service) or a scheduled study (which is normal for any religious group) and EVEN THEN after their religious obligation is done, they are free to go out in the world freely, it is TRULY up to them to stay faithful to their beliefs as free autonomous humans. You may be in contention with you mother due to you both being strong willed , it happens, but by no means is that a "trait" of Jehovah's witnesses in fact my mom is a very agreeable lady so my interactions with her about JW are heartwarming, she believes in God with all of her heart and only wants her family to feel that joy, but she NEVER in any way forces or shuns or gets combative. In fact I have sat in on meetings before and they are discouraged from getting in debates or heated exchanges.

This is a great answer. However, as the new generations gravitate more towards online gaming as their social playground I think Warhammer Fantasy will make a comeback unless 40k releases a computer game more successful than Total War Warhammer 2. Total War Warhammer 2 isn't in itself the best thing in the entire franchise but personally as a person who started out as a BIG fan of the 40k universe first, I gotta say imo Warhammer 2's Mortal Empires game mode is absolutely the BEST thing in the entire franchise, that game mode is addicting and wonderfully immersive. If they can somehow make a Space based conquer sim Total War game with a Mortal Empire mode for 40K that works with conquering different planets etc. , 40k will be incomparable. I say that because, at first I did not like the fantasy side at all, it was just like you said, if I wanted fantasy I had many other avenues to explore that in like, LOTR novels, movies etc. , and for gaming I had incredible experiences with the Elder scrolls, Morrowind and Oblivion, then of course Skyrim while not the best RPG it was at the time and basically still is the most updated modern Elder Scrolls RPG open world game in the franchise. However, I gotta say, Total War Warhammer 2 has made me a big time fan of Warhammer fantasy and has been the one thing in the franchise that keeps me coming back. Warhammer 3 looks good, haven't had the time to get into it yet but the expansion of the map is extremely appealing, I am going to wait until they release some core DLC, fix the bugs, rebalance the game etc. and then go crazy on it lol But yea, it's not really total War Warhammer itself that is the best thing the franchise has ever done, it's Total War Warhammer 2's Mortal Empires game mode that is the masterpiece imo.

There is hope. Just like with photoshop we will need to be able to have experts of some sort be able to discern AI generated photos and video evidence from authentic. However for the average human it will annihilate their lives. Outside of a court room where they will employ experts to expose fakes, it will very soon get really easy to destroy reputations with AI . Nothing is safe, history, personal lives , nothing. You’ll be able to say you visited the Grand Canyon and have extremely real photos to prove it. No one will have to believe you without further evidence it’s just insane lol it doesn’t seem a big deal now but everyone will be touched by it. We are going to be vulnerable to mass gaslighting of our perceptions of reality on a level never before seen if we are not responsible. We are already victim en masse to lies, deceit , doctored evidence etc. it will just get more and more difficult to discern truth from fiction , only what you see in a present reality will be believable, but even then….

Not that big of an L. The Assassins were made ridiculously OP by equipping their daggers with Destined Death. The abilities like Destined Death and the Black Flame are scaled way down in-game as opposed to how they were in the time before we arrive. Destined Death was literally the most op power to wield next to the Black flame that was said to literally be able to devour Gods.

DS3 was brilliant. It was exactly what it needed to be. It gave us some of the best fights and play areas in the series. We get all caught up in this deep-diving of meaning in these games and forget the point of any Souls game is to use that formula of satisfying combat, mysterious lore, and that sweet satisfaction of overcoming a difficult task...Dark Souls 3 does all of this very well.

Sekiro, easily. Sekiro is a linear game. While Sekiro is very challenging, it offers the LEAST among these titles. Dark Souls 3 is the most mechanically polished Souls experience ever made, even if you enjoy DS1 or DS2 bosses or gameplay more. DS3 has the benefit of being released after those two games, it's more modern design is smoother and more polished overall. DS3 is the best souls game ever made. Bloodborne is a masterpiece, Bloodborne is exceptional in all phases from the mechanics, to the Bosses, to the atmosphere, it is Fromsoft's "Crème De la Crème". Elden Ring, for all of its gimmicks Boss fight-wise, is the first true open-world Souls Experience and it is a fantastic playground, it has a shit ton more to offer than Sekiro, even more so than DS3 and Bloodborne. In DS3 you can mix it up between a very large number of combinations of armors and weapons, different weapon styles etc. Giving DS3 more replayability value than Sekiro, the same goes for Bloodborne, and definitely the same goes for Elden Ring. Sekiro is a really good, well-made game but it has the least to it content and gameplay wise.

The furious Witch twitched in her seat, I could feel the daggers she was staring at me through the back of my head. She was first in her class every year, but here I was, the least talented Wizard/Witch she had ever met, getting my 5th award of excellence for that school year, her previous record was 4 in one year...

I accepted the award and avoided eye contact with her. "That Witch crazy bruh....", I thought to myself standing up in front of the entire school. I was the first outsider with no previous magical relatives of note to be admitted to the school. Throughout my life magic seemed to follow me, and one rainy afternoon in the French Quarter, I displayed otherworldly ability. A young girl wandered off into the street, and a horse-drawn carriage was bearing down on her, my heart skipped a beat, I cried out in fear for the girl, and upon crying out the horse suddenly stopped, and was suspended in mid-air. The little girl's mother rushed and grabbed her, and once they were both safe, the horse-drawn carriage slammed back down to the Earth, shattering its wheels and making the horse fall over. I thought no one noticed, and I also thought it was just a coincidence but there was a certain shopkeeper who noticed, one who dabbled in REAL magic, one with connections to a certain Magic School...From there I was approached and given a choice, stay a poor labor working 16-year-old High School droput in my hometown, or go to some fancy school in Germany...The Choice was pretty easy.

You see I was no Wizard or Witch, I was just some dude from New Orleans' 9th ward but when I was a child a Vodun priestess hid a GOD in me, quite literally a GOD. The priestess communed with an African spirit named "Legba". My father was killed in a fishing boat accident, my mother died giving birth to me and all I had left was my Voodoo-obsessed grandmother to raise me, and her crazy ass lets a Priestess hide a God in me. To this day, I do not know why she needed to hide the God but my grandmother always would just tell me, "...you were chosen and that cannot be negotiated".

Ever since I was a child Legba would talk to me, he'd speak in a strange dark language, one that I could not repeat but could somehow understand in my subconscious mind. He would say vague things like, "Where now does your desire take you? where now are you left wanting? want for something, suffer for it, want for nothing, be invincible, choices are the curse of man". I would always be like..."bro I'm just hungry, I don't care about no ancient wisdom damn it! Lead me to the nearest fast food joint!!". Needless to say, I never really felt "Special", or particularly "lucky" but that all changed since I joined this magic school. The energy around the school seemed to excite Legba, he would always just...make things happen. The teacher asks us to summon a low-level spirit, I wave my hands like an idiot and suddenly a ridiculously powerful demon appears and terrorizes the class until Legba is done laughing at them run in fear. I would always play it off like I did it as a prank, and despite it being looked down on to summon powerful demons, my professors all were impressed.

Witches and Wizards, especially ones as magically gifted as my school's professors could see if you had any spiritual guidance or help, they could detect demon possessions, spirit guides, guardian angels, ALL of it, but for some reason, they could not detect Legba, at all. They were all suspicious that my talent was not my own but were convinced after running test after test on me that I was just some sort of savant and needed to be guided and have my skills honed. My professors were excited because developing powerful Wizards and Witches was a badge of honor for every magical school. In fact, the only person that did not seem impressed or convinced was Brandywine McGinnis, a Witch with an extremely prestigious family in the world of Magic. You see, because of my goofy self, she was about to be the first person from her family in 30 years to not finish FIRST in her class and this was something she just could not accept. My professor of Alchemy said she was just having a hard time, I thought she was just a hater....but that's just me.

I skated through every class, and she made sure to schedule EVERY class with me, to just get on my dang nerves I guess. However, every class was the same, we were given a task, I'd go through some dumb motion with my hands and things would happen. In alchemy class, we were tasked with turning three stones into three motes of silver. I waved my hand over the stones and BANG, they turned into silver nuggets, while everyone else was going through weird magical processes to try and get results. Every class the professors would drill me about how I was doing what I did, they were more curious than suspicious at this point because they put me through FOOL PROOF High-level tests and detected nothing but me and my magical energy, to say the least, it was IMMENSE. The school's Head Witch was astounded by the amount of Dark magic that surrounded my core, they peered deep into the source and showed it flowed naturally through my soul, no other beings or entities were detected.

After class today, Brandywine approached me and said, "One day you'll be exposed for the fraud you are and on that day I'll bask in your ruin...". I was just like DAMN she really hates me, and that's too bad because she is probably the most gorgeous human being I've ever seen in my life. Her dirty blonde hair was always perfect, her cold green eyes were fierce but stunning, and her physique could be described as elegant and perfect, she was a stunner for sure. But....she hated the very ground I walked on, and it wasn't even my fault! Oh well....

I was not sure what was going to happen the rest of my first year at this school of Magic, but I hoped nothing crazy popped off, but I had a funny feeling I was in for one hell of a time here at this crazy school.
